Online Reservations and DVC

Hi all! I've been away from the Restaurant board for a while and haven't been paying attention to what has been going on with any developments of online booking. Stupid school, in the way and all.

Anyway, are there still problems with booking online dining with DVC reservations? I think I should also mention that the reservation is rented points and that I haven't been able to retrieve the reservation via "My Disney Vacation"... is that going to matter? Are DVC reservations normally not able to be retrieved under My Disney Vacation?

I didnt have a problem booking online reservations with my DVC reservation. It wont pull up under My Disney Vacation but when you are making your dining reservations there is a place that says something to the effect of do you want to make these reservations with your disney dining plan and you can enter your reservation number from DVC here.

One big change from a DVC standpoint is that you now have to pay for the dining plan when you add it to your reservation instead of at check in.

So if you dont have the dining plan linked to your DVC reservation, the venues like Hoop Dee Doo, CRT and the like require prepayment.

After you make your dining reservations, you can pull them up under the tab that has the phrase, "my dining reservations"
