Online Checkin-wow!

Call me "old fashioned" but I like the interaction with people at the front desk. If you come upon a CM who is having a bad day or the person in front of you just reamed him/her out, you get the chance to lift them up and that is one thing technology can not do!

We always do OLCI but last months trip was the first time we got the email to bypass the desk and head to our room. We actually got the email while on Magical Express and I was skeptical but it worked like a charm.

I love the technology aspect of it. But, I am refusing online check-in this next time as I want to be able to refuse my room if I get first floor again, ha! I love upper floor, and when they pre-assign you one, it’s not quite as easy to ask for something else.

All rooms are pre-assigned whether you do Online Check In or not. So really there is no difference.

Not trying to sway anyone to use Online Check In, just wanted to point that out.

You can always still stop by the Check In Desk, even if you've done Online Check In. That will never change.

We are going in Sept and I really want to do online check in.. now how do you request which room/section you want and how do you let them know that your celebrating a special occasion like a birthday... my big 40..lol

Call the Main Reservations line and add any room requests and celebrations to your reservation. This can be done anytime from the day you book up until 4-5 days prior to your arrival.
