Online checkin Requests at AKL??

Hi there,

Just did my online checkin for our upcoming trip at Kidani. Under "Room Requests" my only 2 choices were Near Elevator, and Upper Floor. I can't remember exactly, but I am sure there were several more options in the past. We always request a room near the lobby, and lower floor. Does anyone know when or why this changed? I know that a lot of people request close to lobby because of the size of the resort, and they can't accommodate everyone with this request, but it doesn't seem right that now you can't even request it.
 
Contact MS to have your requests noted on the reservation.
 
Not OP here, but I was wondering if there's a way to double-check what I requested with MS. I did on-line check in the other day, and left the requests blank because I know I made requests at the time I made the reservation. Problem is-now I don't remember what I requested!
 
You can contact MS via chat, email or phone to verify or make requests. We always double check all requests 30 days prior to check in, on occasion they have disappeared from the reservation.

Online checkin is NOT WORKING. You can check in but requests section is blank or if there very few options. Its been this way for atleast 2 weeks.

Call reservations and have them manually add in your requests. I just did that for all 3 of my resorts.
 
FWIW, I used the touring plans fax room request recently for a 2BR at Kidani and it matched exactly. Not saying that is or was to be expected but it is a pretty specific request : Bldg Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas North Trail,Flr 2,NE-facing room.Exmple:7614. I imagine MS can put in “free text” similarly.
 
I did online check in this week for AKV and there was nowhere to make requests so I emailed member services. Haven't heard anything back yet.
 
We used the chat feature and they added our request as there were no options available on SSR online check in and we wanted upper floor. They did it right away for us. We'll see
if it is granted. I know there are no guarantees.
 
You can also try 407 939 7777 Disney Signature Services. Its Club Level call in center, but they wont turn you away if you ask to update your requests.
