Online checkin and room request questions

We are renting points at Poly in June through an agency, and this is our first time renting points. Should we do the online checkin using MDE or the DVC website? Also, what is the best way, if at all possible, to do a room request when renting points?

The online check-in link on the DVC website redirects to MDE. MDE is where you should be doing all of your planning (dining, FP+, etc.).

As for requests, either you need to ask the owner to have them noted on the reservation or use what's available during online check-in.
