Online Check-in/Request vs. Member Services Room Request

We arrive on Saturday and I have not done the online check at this time. However, I did speak with member services a few weeks ago and gave them my room requests (which I know are just that, a request.) Should I also do online check in or will that remove my request that I have already made? Also do our requests made with member services get noted on our reservations that the resort receives?

If you add requests during on-line check-in, they (reportedly) will override any added by MS.

The requests are included so that the room assigner can see them.

If you want to do online check-in, just skip the section for requests. That's what I do.
