Online check in lately

Has anyone done online check in at the Fort lately and is it really any faster?
How long do you experience waiting in line for an afternoon check in.

I always use online check-in.
I don't know how much time it saves upon arrival, but things always go smoothly.
I can see no reason not to do it.

We used online check-in for a recent trip to POP. We didn't get any of our preferences and requesting a change was like we asked for rediculous upgrades. As there was only a few people checking in I don't think it made any difference and may have made things longer trying for one of our requests. If going at peak time it could make a big difference.

Just did it two days ago. Flawless. We were in line no more than 10 min.
