So tonight at 11 CST was our check in time. When I go to the DCL website I am able to add activities like Palo and Port Adventures but I can't actually check in or pick a PAT.

We are taking DCL transfers from MCO, is this reason we can't check in or pick a PAT?

I think I read that you don't get to choose a port check-in time when you take the DCL transfers. You just get to check-in when you arrive with the bus.

If you're taking DCL transfers you do not get a PAT. It should tell you that you're all set and do not need a PAT. It shouldn't stop you from checking in though.

We had problems for about 45 minutes tonight trying to check in online. We tried three different browsers on two different computers and one phone. We were able to book our dining and port excursions but not check in. Finally around 12:45 AM EST, the online check in button popped up on the reservation page and we were able to check in and pick our PAT.
As to the DCL transfers and a PAT, we are also sailing on the 2/20 Fantasy cruise and using DCL transfers. We were able to pick a PAT when we checked in. Can't comment as to why this happened for us and not for others, but we did book a VGT fare about a month ago and added the transfers a day or two later.

I stayed up for an hour last night and the check in option never appeared on either my laptop or phone. It's working this morning and I could select a PAT. I got the second window, which is a little frustrating, but not that big of a deal. What a downgrade this website has been.

Generally, this is correct. If you arrive via DCL transfers, you can enter the terminal and check in regardless of your selected PAT. However, your PAT is tied to the boarding number you get when you check in at the port.

That being said, there are instances where you are not prompted to select a PAT, if you book a hotel stay (WDW resort/Hyatt MCO) through DCL and also do DCL transfers is one instance.

We've arrived at the port via DCL transfers from MCO, as well as from a WDW resort, and have always been prompted to select a PAT, except this last time. This time we've booked the Hyatt MCO through DCL with transfers and did not have to select a PAT. Also Platinum CC as well as Concierge guests do not select PATs.

Another issue, you must complete all the pages prior to the PAT page in order for it to unlock. You can enter correct info or just gibberish (the DCL website only recognizes that you've entered something, not that it's correct) in order to make this happen.
