HI, we assigned our seats on virgin, months ago. DH and I together and DSIL and DBIL behind us. DSIL has flying issues so wanted to be near the window rather than in a 4. I have regularly checked on the website and the seats have remained as we requested. This morning I checked us in online and it moved us!!! 3 in a row with DH in the row in front. We rang Virgin and the man advided us not to print out boarding pass and when we are at bag drop tomorrow he said we should mention this and they may be able to change the seat. Has anyone else done this/had this happen to them?

This has happened to us more than once.

Last year we took my sister with us and her booking was seperate. When we went to check in on line they had seperated all 3 of us, we were told the same thing when we phoned them but once we got to checkin they were able to change us.
We have also checked in on-line and then asked for different seats once we got to the airport which isn't a problem.

Just make sure to be there early and you should be fine, try not to let it stress you out.

BTW - did you get the seats changed at bag drop or did you have to queue in the regular check in queue?

We did this at the bag drop line when we wanted to change our seats, but that means you would of needed to be checkin already.

Why don't you check in the 1 couple that are sitting together and then all go to bag drop tomorrow. They can change the couple already booked in there.
