Online check-in - confused?

I received an email from DVC inviting me to check in online (trip starts Monday). I was thinking of using it, but the reservation # in the email was completely different from the number on my mailed paper reservation confirmation.

Should I call to verify the reservation is correct? It looks as it should on the dvc member site, so this # has come out of nowhere. Should I be concerned?

If the website confirmation number matches your written confirmation number you should be OK.

Online check in is process that DVC has borrowed from CRO. It often has bad data and it's use has limited benefits for DVC Members.

My trip starts Monday as well but my online checkin email didn't have the ressie number in it. I had to go looking for the confirm #. Enjoy your trip...
