Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

So now when I click to 'Book a Reservation' for CRT, I just get this message

"Make Your Reservation
We are currently rolling out a *NEW* online dining application to make your reservation process even easier. Please come back and try our new system when it is available. To make a dining reservation at this time, please call (407) 939-7861. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call."

ETA: It says this with every restaurant I try... wth?

Hopefully they are fixing the DVC issue then. :rolleyes1
 
I am confused and need help....

I am staying at a Disney resort in Oct. I DID NOT go through a Travel Agent.I am suppose to make my ADR's on July 11, thats 90 days prior. Can I make them 90 days + 10 which makes them now July 1st with my reservation number online or by phone??? I am NOT A DVC member either. Also is it at 8am (by phone) or 12am Florida time, online? Thanks in advance for any help.

I know this is confusing but if your 90 day is July 11 then that is the date you can make your dining reservations. If you are staying at a Disney resort you can also make ADR's for up to an additional 10 days after your check in date.

It isn't 100 days prior to your arrival
 

the system is down again right now. I have been unable to use it at all. The CM I talked to said it was because I booked through a TA. Disney's website is the least reliable corporate site I have used in many years.
 
It's working. I just made a Teppon Edo for 9-22-2009, just for s&g's. Got confirm, will cancel now.
 
I just called the 7861 number posted on the online adr page and was directly connected to tech service - not dining reservations :confused3
The CM said they have been receiving calls there all morning and are working to get the online system up and running again.:thumbsup2
 
If I remember correctly, when you put an ADR in your cart, you get a message that says that it will be held for you for 20 minutes. If you haven't checked out by that time, it will go back into the pool for others to take. It seemed that as long as it was in your cart, no one else could take it.

I would suggest that you add the most important ADR's to your cart, then check out. Once you have those, then go back and select your not as important ones. That way if there is a computer glitch, you will at least have your important ones. Good luck getting what you want!

I thought it said if after 20 minutes of inactivity it would time you out but it would hold your cart for 2 hours if you were active. I could be wrong though. :rolleyes1
 
Same - I paid for preferred (whatever that means) and we're there for 10 days this year. Next year DH said we can do 2 weeks!:cool1:
Preferred rooms are the rooms closest to the Hippy Dippy Pool and Classic Hall (food court and lobby). So you'll be central to everything rather than out on the edges of the resort. :goodvibes
 
I got up at 6:10 this morning and signed in and was able to pull up my 89 plus 10 I have never been able to get the plus 10 to work. I got the Tusker House Breakfast I needed. Now all is well. I may still try to change my Yak and Yeti time from 2:30 to later. Or I may just run with what I have and count my blessings.:goodvibes

All Walt Disney World Resort table-service restaurants that accept reservations offer balanced menu choices and can accommodate lifestyle dietary needs (such as no sugar added, low-fat, low-sodium, vegetarian or vegan). Please advise a Cast Member of your request at the time you place your order and he or she will be happy to assist. For dinner shows, 24-hour notice is required for any lifestyle menu request. Our quick-service locations also offer balanced menu choices and can accommodate most lifestyle dining options.

In order to participate in this experience, Theme Park admission is required.

Most Walt Disney World Resort table-service restaurants that accept advance reservations can accommodate Kosher needs if requested at least 24 hours in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call. A credit card is required to guarantee this meal; the full price of ordered meals will be charged if you cancel within one day of the reservation or are a "no show" for the reservation. At family-style or buffet locations, you will only receive one meal; does not include all-you-care-to-eat. You will be charged the regular buffet or all-you-care-to-eat price.

Transportation Time: Allow up to 1.5 hours to travel to your destination when traveling within Walt Disney World property.

All Walt Disney World Resort table-service restaurants that accept reservations may attempt to accommodate special dietary requests (such as allergies to gluten or wheat, shellfish, soy, lactose or milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish or eggs) if requested at least 72 hours in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but when I go to look at the TS locations it will only pull up 1 TS at that area the rest just say:

No pictures or anything. Am I doing something wrong:confused3

I can't get any TS locations to pull up either. I just see the same thing: Cusine:American Location: Magic Kingdom Theme Park

No pictures, no links, nada...................
