Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Sorry to hear about the trouble. That was my fear!

My check in date is 9/17 and it did not open up for me until 5 a.m. central. I was able to book my +10 days but I had to refresh the page. I was logged in if that helps. I got CRT for 9/18 at 1:10 p.m. for 5 and Garden Grill on 9/19. Worked well for me.

Nope. Not working. I've even signed in and out twice! Dang! I'm soo peeved!!!!!!!!!!

Weird thing too....how on earth was I able to snag a 7:05 dinner at LeCellier for the 17th anyways???? This is one that I had planned on night #8 as I know how hard it is to get this place. People have been able to book the 17th (using the +10) for ages now. I'm confused! :confused3

I can't get on either. We arrive the night of Sept 17. Can't get anything past that date. I've tried the reservation number that we got through AAA. I also called Disney yesterday and got another reservation number that they had for us. Neither of those work.

Nope...no luck for me yet. I did manage to book O'Hana @ 9:30pm and Whisp Canyon @ 1:05pm along with Le Cellier...all on the 17th. Figure, maybe, I'll have some luck with switching dates when I speak to a real, live boy!!!! :rotfl:

When you are actually to your 90 days, it will let you book out for your +10 days. So, when you retrieve your resort reservation tomorrow, it will "unlock" those extra days for you to book your ADRs.

Thanks

now can anyone tell me if there is a best order of operations as to how to do this (like when booking an illuminations cruise there is a step by step guide) or a general directions site - (post number if in this thread)
I am not sure if I need to login only or if I also need to add my ressie number. (i counted wrong so I have a couple more days to plan my strategy :lmao: :cool1: :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: ) Oh the excitement!!!

ALso does anyone know the FIRST booking time for a Chef Mickey DInner we want as early as possible on the 26th of Sept???

I had read where if you put in a time too early it just bounces you out of that resturant, but doesnt give you another time option. is this true?

the excitment mounts!!! :wizard: :flower3: :goodvibes

Gave up with online and now I'm on hold. I gave up my water aerobics class at the YMCA (class is 5:45 to 6:30 am) this morning to do this.

Question (late,now..sorry):

Did you click the "retrieve my reservation" link under one of the restaurants, or are you relying on the "My Disney vacation" link to provide your resort info when you're logged in?

My suggestion:
Log out, and just use the "retrieve my reservation" link, under the first restaurant you want an ADR for (just above the date select area) to enter your ressie # and confirmation. See if that works in bringing up your ressie.

Maybe the phone is best after all!!! Got EVERYTHING i wanted at pretty much the exact times!!! :cheer2:

By the way...there is now a LeCellier cancellation for 7:05pm on Thurs Sept 17th if anybody wants to try and snag it! :thumbsup2

I did try that way also. Nothing worked. :guilty:
But...... I was on the phone with an agent at EXACTLY 7am!! WOWZA!!!

Here's what I got::yay:

LeCellier - Thurs Sept 24th - 4:45pm
O'Hana - Sat, 26th - 7pm
Whispering Canyon - Sun, 20th - 4:45pm
Teppan Edo - Sat, 19th - 5:10pm
Yak & Yeti - Fri, 25th - 4:45pm
Plaza - Sat, 26th - 1:40pm
Mama Melrose's - Tue, 22nd - 4:25pm
Wolf Puck's - Mon, 21st - 4:30pm

1st night will be Beaches & Cream and Wed will be ESPN...don't take ADRs.

So..I'm pretty happy! Now I can go relax!!! :thumbsup2

did you guys book with a travel agent? the TA reservation numbers haven't been working.

We did book with AAA and had a number but I also called Disney to see if they had a different number. They did but that number also did not work either. However, just got off the phone. Process took 25 minutes with 10 of that being on hold. Here's what we got for a party of 3:
Sept. 19: 50's Prime Time at 6:35
Sept. 20: Tutto Italia at 6:30
Sept. 21: Chef Mickey at 6:20
Sept. 22: Princess breakfast at Norway at 8:25. I though that they were open from breakfast from 8:30-11:00 so I didn't expect to get an 8:25 time.
Everything I wanted:cool1:

I can only book for the 17th even though my reseration shows up in my profile. What am I doing wrong?

Did you click on retrieve reservation just above the date?

I was able to get all of my ADRs at close to the times I wanted, I only had to call for Tea at the Garden View Lounge since they don't have a reservation box for it. Here are my ADRs:

1. 9/18 - Ohana
2. 9/19 - 1900 Park Fare
3. 9/20 - Yak & Yeti
4. 9/21 - Akershus Princess Breakfast
5. 9/21 - WCC Dinner
6. 9/22 - Tony's
7. 9/23 - Tea at the Garden View Lounge
8. 9/23 - California Grill
9. 9/25 - Coral Reef Lunch
10 9/26 - CRT Lunch
11.9/27 - Rose & Crown @ 7:45:woohoo:Illuminations baby!

Anyway, after poking around for awhile, the Tech Support CM suggested I try clearing my cookies and transferred me to Guest Services. The CM there advised me to get a hold of Tech Support! I got the distinct impression that they have no idea what the problem is.

When you enter your ressie, EXACTLY what is the error message you're getting? You'll see it at the top of the page...

With CRO ressies, it SHOULDN'T be the phone number match that's the problem. Those phone numbers seem to be transferring fine. Only with DVC (and maybe with TA..but the TA's may just not be using the customer phone # when making the ressie) ressies does it seem to be the phone number.

When I click the Retrieve Your Reservation link on the dining page & enter my resort confirmation number and phone number, I get a message that says “The reservation(s) you were trying to retrieve cannot be found. Please check that the information you provided is correct.”

As I mentioned before, my resort ressie isn’t a DVC or TA ressie and it does pull up on the My Disney Vacation page. I’ve tried it when I’m logged in and logged out with no luck. Every Dining/Central Reservation/Guest Services/Tech Support CM I’ve spoken to has told me that the information I’m entering is correct and that it should work.

So it seems like there is a glitch somewhere in the system that is bigger than just a phone number issue. And since they have no idea what the problem is, it also appears that I’ll be calling in to make my ADRs! :lmao:

The error message you're seeing is the one that inidcates you've entered a valid reservation #, but that they can't pull it up for some reason. The reason that's been most common is the secondary match (on phone number) is erroring out the system.

Now, when Tech support is looking at your ressie, I wonder which system they're looking in. If they're looking in the CRO system...they're likely right.

Try this: Call Disney Dining, have THEM pull up your ressie, and see what phone number they have attached to it.

When we did it...the field was blank.

So the 90+10 actually worked for you online? I'm impressed. This is the only thread I've read where someone was successful. Of course being a DVC member, I'm not too optimistic for any success on booking 90+10 online.
