One year today till our trip!!!!!

The family:

DMom(68) Me(34) DD(16) DS(11) DSis(CrazyaboutCinderella)(37) her DSs(13 and 3), another DSis and her DSs(11 and 6)(Our DHs are not disney freaks, so we go without them)

We have taken this trip before in June of 2005. We had a ball. Crazy and I decided to suprise our DSis and DMom and pay for their trips...and boy were they excited!!!!

So we have decided to take another Disneytrip and we know that we would only have a good time if we all went together AGAIN!!!

We are planning for 5-25-08 because my DD will have just graduated HS and I would like one last trip with her before she goes off to college. Also, it takes time to save up the money to do the trip right so May '08 makes perfect sense!!

Booked the hotel rooms today. 3 preferred rooms at AllStarMovies (we stayed there last time and LOVED it!!)

Our Passporters 2008 are on preorder. I consider this my lifeline at WDW...it has so much information.

I've ordered our customized maps off of the Disney website.

Sometimes it feels like time is moving wayyyyyy too slow!!! Hurry up Disney Trip and get here already!!! Had a little disney fix yesterday...Great shows on the Travel Channel about WDW...really got my DNephew excited!

My sister and I purchased $125 each worth of Dockers items from JCP this past weekend and sent off the receipts to receive a free ticket each to Orlando!!! Her oldest DS needed new clothes and so did my DH, so we really saved some money!!

Contacted DVC and they are sending me out some information to help me decide about becoming a member.

We started our wait at over a year, as well, and it hasn't been easy. We went to Disney on Ice, watched all the Travel Channel shows many times over, hit the Disney Store often, and had Disney themed get togethers. We are now in the home stretch. We pull out on the evening of July 23rd! We're now to the point that we're buying all the little odds and ends to go in our suitcases, so it is really seeming real. While you wait, we'd love to have you join us on our pre-trip report and then along for our trip adventures. Look for the thread by Brooklynnsmommy on this Pre-trip board. I've enjoyed everyone else's trips as they've come back and shared. It's helped us be there, even when we're still here. Maybe our writings will help others who are enduring long waits, too. We'll be staying at Movies during our March trip, too, so maybe we can really help you out there by taking lots of good pictures.

My sister, CrazyaboutCinderella, and I went to The Disney Store yesterday and bought her DS and our DNephew two new shirts and the cutest little sunglasses for our trip! There were some amazing deals there and we are going back next week to buy some shirts for us and my DS, her other DS and our other DNephew. They all wear men's sizes.

Next Monday is 11 months exactly!!!! The excitement is building!!!

More shirts have been purchased. At 4.99 per shirt and less I might add!!! We buy the boys matching tshirts so that they are easier to locate in a crowd. I've heard through the grapevine that August 15 is DDAY('08 packages available to book). I am counting down the days.

CrazyaboutCinderella and I are on a mission to lose weight before WDW. I've lost 25 lbs so far!! Just 70 to go!!
