**Technically I stole the $80 from the cruise money. I just really wanted to reach $1000 because beginning in May the savings part is REALLY going to slow down.

I won't be able to toss the extra grocery money in the pot like I've been doing...it's taken too large of a toll on our stockpile and I was frantically trying to build it back up this month. From now on...the food portion of the savings is going to be only a small amount each month...basically less than $20.

Next month is going to be heavy on gasoline consumption...so I doubt there will be much (if any) to put towards Disney. This SHOULD be a May-only consideration though.

The change jar has taken a HUGE hit...since I've basically been diverting ALL change to the Disney jar...the regular jar is pretty much empty. I'm going to have to cool it on the Disney jar until the regular jar has had a chance to build back up a bit.

And finally...we have been exceeding our 175 GB allowance from our internet provider lately and the fees for the overages have been ridiculous!! One of the large eaters of the bandwidth is the radio streaming...so I'm going to lose some revenue there now that I have to scale back.

Obviously, that means I'm going to have to set a much smaller goal for May and June and then I'll reassess again as we head into July.

Don't think I'm a creeper or anything but I really enjoy these posts! It's neat to see how your money for vacation is coming together! I plan on stealing some of your ideas for our big summer 2015 vacation. I do a zero out budget, so this vacation will be from found money and what money goes into the vacation budget. This year though we won't have a ton to put into a vacation fund, so I'll be using a lot of "found money".

Right now I'm doing QuickRewards, Swagbucks & DMR. Is there another survey site that you would recommend?

Hello!

I have just found this thread and love all the stuff your doing.
My family of 7 (5 daughters) my husband and I , are all going to disneyland at Christmas. This is not our first Christmas trip and I'm sure not our last I had wanted to go durning the summer this year but got out voted. we also live in Canada.
I was wondering if you have already booked all your hotels and tickets?

And what I love about this is that I have been making payments on our trip since September . I will have our whole trip paid off in June . With our big family size we have to book 2 rooms. We are also staying longer then we normally do so we are buying annual passports as we also get great discounts and it's so worth it!
I'm just wondering if you guys have found great deals in Canada as well?
