It's called "istash". It's .99 and you can set more than one goal. You name it and set the amount and there is a thermometer picture that shows you how close to that goal you are. I'm not a big app person but the visual helps me a lot.

I am in Ontario too.

We are planning 9 days for Sept 2015, Value w/park hopper, flying out of toronto & really hoping for free dinning.

I am a stay at home mom of 3 under 5, so we are already on a tight budget lol.

A few of my budget tricks are... (for anyone interested)
1. Put all extra cash into the Disney Fund (tax return, bonuses, birthday cash)
2. As previously mentioned its hard to coupon in Canada, but when grocery shopping, I plan out our meals, use coupons when I can, ALWAYS price match and stick to the list
3. Will be having a big garage sale in the summer and all that will go Into the Disney Fund
4. No eating out ever and when we are tempted to order in we put $20 into the fund instead
5. Almost all my kids clothes come from old navy clear out or joe fresh clear out and when they don't they either come from old navy baby sale or with an online promo code, I almost never pay full price for anything.

Here's where we are at...

$150 - Cash Jar

Monthly Goal: $100
Current amount: $4250
Ultimate Goal: $6000 (But I hope to do it for under $5500)

Due to my DH's work issues, our annual Disney trip has been moved from December to September this year. I haven't gotten our final trip budget in place yet, but we have been working on saving and earning for our trip.

Here's what we've earned so far:

* $10 Fuel Card My Points


In addition to the cash back sites and rewards programs, we sell on eBay and Craigslist, use coupons and rebates, my DH works an extra job in the summer, and we have a coin jar as well. Some years we have a garage sale as well, but for us, they have been a lot of work and not a lot of money. I guess we'll wait and see about that for this year.

**April is going to have a smaller goal. It's a big spend month what with Easter and my son's birthday and my dad's birthday and the fact that this pay period has to stretch over 5 weeks instead of four. That means there won't be much left from the food budget at all to put aside and likely the gasoline as well (we'll be going out of town for Easter!)

I would love to have $1000 by the end of April but I think that's too far of a stretch! So I think I'll aim for $150 for the month of April and adjust upwards if I reach that one somewhat faster than I expect.

Dont drink soda in restaurants and try and use coupons as much as possible. Or when you are eating out. Get an appetizer and an extra soup/salad and then split the main course.

Don't eat lunches out most days of the week. That really adds up.

Drinking water instead of drinks can save big time, but remember to tip according to your orginal total not after coupon has been taken off..

Try Savingstar.com. You sign up and register your various store loyalty cards. They have various items that u click on, buy and they will give you back cash. Sme items are worth more than others, but most are things you would buy anyways. For example spend $20.00 on various Purex items and they will give $5.00 back into ur Savingstar acct. you can save up for a long time and once you have $5.00 you can cash out to PayPal or I think a gift card or donate to charity.
Also they have a 100% freebie item on Fridays. Buy the select Friday item and they will credit what u spent to ur acct.
Tuesdays are their Healthy item day--usually a certain percentage back on buying fruit or some veggies bulk item in the produce section.

I too love Quick rewards.com. When I visit my mom in the nursing home, I'll do the video section. Some pay more than others. But if you do those and some of the surveys while your watching tv or visiting they all add up! You can save the money for a super long time. Can cash out to PayPal. They also have DISNEY gift cards that start out at $25 and $50. Maybe $100 too. Also other type of gift cards too.

When you buy something, pay with bills and toss the loose change into your vacation jars. I have one for pennies, silver change and a quarters jar.
