One Year Anniversary Trip

My husband and I are going to Disney to celebrate our one-year anniversary in October and I was wondering if there were any "must do" Disney secrets or tips. I've heard of having to try Dole Whip, but is there anything else we should do to make our trip extra special? Also, what is the weather typically like? We will be there October 10-16. Oh, and have any of you been to Pop Century? How is it?

Hi! My wife and I are going to celebrate our 5 year anniversary Oct. 12-16 and we're also staying at Pop Century (the rate was too good to pass up!).

Well - what to do I guess depends on how often you've been there and what you like to do. I first of all recommend doing MNSSHP - it's a great way to see the MK, go trick or treating and the crowds are really light if you go mid week (go Thurs. Oct. 14). Almost no lines on many rides. It's a separate ticket but you can get in at 4pm and can do lots. (We usually just relax that morning or do a water park rather than waste a hopper day.)

Epcot is great for the food and wine festival. Make sure you don't eat at all before heading over there to save room. Some really pretty places to walk in World Showcase (pretty romantic gardens behind UK / I like France and Italy too.

Downtown Disney is a lot of fun (we love the comedy club and adventurers club on PI) but always just spend an evening just walking around to the different shops.

Otherwise - just talk a look on the various Disney websites - there's a lot to do!

Could I suggest going to HDDR 7:15 performance, then cross street from Pioneer Hall and take the hayride and catch Electric water parade from hayride or walk down to FW beach and watch it.I think that would be a special evening.
