I ended a friendship like that awhile ago, just got tired of being hurt all the time. We were friends for many years while our kids were growing up, and while we all attended the same church. But after we left the church, she changed...she kept saying how she wanted to continue the friendship but then she'd do things that showed me she really didn't. I finally got sick of it.
