I'm a little confused about the number of people we can put in one room. Our group will be 2 adults plus dd(10) ds(6) ds(3) and dd(2). This puts us at 5 people and one crib~ does this still fit the one room qualification? I know Poly allows 5 people not sure if that's plus a crib or just 5 people including a crib. Any other suggestions for our group size would be appreciated. Trying not to do a suite or 2 rooms unless we really really need to. TIA.

I haven't stayed in one yet, but I would think that with the ages of your children, you might be most comfortable in an All-star family suite. That way you would have 2 bathrooms, and if your 2 year old is in a pack-n-play, you could put that in the room with you, and let the other three sleep in the "living area", plus you would have the mini-kitchenette to use.

If my MIL wasn't going on this trip, I would be staying in one of these, but I couldn't let her sleep on a sleeper sofa!

Look on the resorts baord, and you will find pictures of the family suite.

In answer to your question, yes, you could stay at Poly since you have 5 plus one child under 3. I can see where it would be great, being on the monorail, and sometimes convenience wins out over price.

The good news is that yes you can stay in a single room at the deluxes- or at least GF and Poly(we have done it that way.) You are in luck because your next youngest is only3. We were able to stay as long as the "Baby" was under 3- he was 2. We had Myself, DH, 13 year old ds, 9 year old dd, 4 year old and the 2 year old. And we all fit in the Poly. It was a little tight. But with the daybed your dd could sleep there- the next 2 in the other bed and then the crib(although I don't know where it will fit actually) We are family bed people so the little guy just slept with us.
Good luck.

This trip we are having to go Deluxe club level (can I say     ) They will fit 6 as the kids will be 14,10,5 and 3 when we go.
Happy planning. I know the Wilderness lodge has a similar club level deluxe room.
Or there is always a villa. But like you we tried to squeeze in one more trip while everyone could fit in a regular room. (The bathrooms are big for hotel bathrooms)

For future planning purposes, is an "infant" UNDER three. Or does it include three year olds? Baby will be 17 monts when we go next December and I am wondering if I should plan for a trip again b/f she turns 3.

Thanks!

You can do any deluxe Contemporary and Poly, cheapest views will be cheaper than Animal Kingdom. You can also sleep at Port Orleans Riverside. It is going to be WAY crowder though with 6 people in that room, even if one is a 2 year old. The family suite is another nice option.

UNDER 3
We are now considered a party of 2 adults, 2 juniors and 2 children as far as CRO is concerned and the kids will be 14,10,5,4

I vote for the Family Suite at All Star Music.

It will be cheaper than the Contemporary or the Polynesian, and you'll be getting all that space and the extra bathroom.

We have done that before, and it was a little tight. We actually started out a split stay at POR and then moved to an off-site 2bedroom 2bathroom suite. And we were happy for the extra room once we moved.

But I would still do it again if I had to!
