One price Photo Pass?

I've read a few posts that mentioned something about a one price PhotoPass picture CD or something. Does that mean we can take as many PhotoPass pictures as we want and they will all be included on one photo disc all for the same price? Does that include on-ride photos or would those be extra? How much is this one price magical deal? Last time the DW and I went to WDW, we bought a few individual pictures and spent nearly $100 just on the few we did get and weren't able to get some others that we liked just because I didn't win the lottery that week. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Photopass CD is about $60 for DLR. On it will come every picture taken of you buy Photopass photographers during a vist.

Matt (Skiingfast) has it right. It includes the photos taken by Photopass photogs. It does not include on-ride pictures.

Ride photos are not included in photo pass. Neither are the pictures take during character meals.

Are the photopass photographers in designated areas? Do you have to wait in line to have the photot taken? Can someone explain the process? Thanks

If you purchase the character meal photos, there's a photo pass code in the large photo so you can add it to the CD. Also they usually take more than one photo but only print one. The other shots will be on the CD too.

OP Disney World has the CD too. For $100 you could've preordered it at a discount.

Yes, they tend to be stationed in the iconic photo spots through out the park. In front of the Mickey Flower Bed, in front of the Castle, with characters ect. How many are out depends on how busy the parks are.

Yes, sometimes there is a short wait, though sometimes not. It depends on how crowded it is. Though even at low times character M&Gs usuallly have a line.

Is this something I can/need to pre-pay for or is that something to take care of when you get to the parks?

I don't remember hearing anything about this last time we went to WDW (Dec '10) so I don't think it was an option back then. I wish it would've been though!

Unlike WDW with it's $99 pre order offer at DLR you can decide later. You will get a PP card from the first Photographer you meet, and hand that card to the next one and the ones after that. When you get home you can view the pictures online and decide if you want to order.

It was, I've been getting photopass CDs since 2007. I'm not sure how long the pre-pay at WDW has been going on but for at least a few years.

I went to the photo pass website and didn't find anything about pre ordering for Disneyland, just WDW. I pre purchased the cd and photo book for our trip to WDW in February and I got the book in the mail today. It is beautiful and I'm going to make sure I buy one for every vacation from now on.

At WDW we were able to get our ride photos added to our regular photo pass, we still had to pay the $14.95 for the digital downloads, but because we prepaid we didn't have to pay again for the final product. The CMs at the photo counters were reluctant as they said we'd have to pay again when we downloaded, but when I explained that we had prepaid they went ahead and added them. It was so much better than having half a dozen cards in my pocket.

Unlike WDW where they have the $99 preorder deal(1/3) off, at DLR is doesn't matter if you order before, during or after the price is always the same. $59.

Sometimes there are deals on the book, despite which park you visit. On occasion I've seen deals come up on the Disney Photopass Services page on FB.

If I visit the parks for 5 days will I need a new photo pass for each day? Or will they all get collected to one photo pass?

No, you can use 1 card the whole trip. If you happen to forget the card in the room one day, no problem get a second. When you go to claim your photos online, you just enter the number on each card you have.

Just wanted to let you know about the typo for the price for DLR photopass (as $99) so that you can edit it. :)

So at DL it's $99.00 all the time or $60.00? Or a different price? We are taking our only trip to DL with our kids (we are east coasters so WDW it normally is and shall be) and perhaps might buy a Photopass.

The DL CD is $59.95 all the time. There is no preorder. And you don't have to decide until after you see the pictures. Sometimes we only like one or 2 pics or don't take the time to get pictures and just pay for the single picture. If we want 3 or more pics we will order the CD.

does DL have the special photos where you can pose and they add in tinkerbell or stich or mickey etc. ?
