Dh & I will be returning to the world in May & have a friend that wants to go too. Her boyfriend does not want to go & sharing a room with her is not an option for either of us. Is there any price difference if she books a room only for just herself? Didn't know if they charge a bit more.

they don't charge extra for a single.

but most of the quote that you see are for double - 2 people staying.

value resorts are reasonable

Depending where you guys are staying, would a 1 bedroom be an option? She would most likely be on a pull out but you wouldn't be sleeping in the same room, sharing the ktichen and bathroom though, the bathroom is very large and two could get ready at the same time. For instance, instead of renting two hotel rooms at the WL, you may be better off with a 1 bedroom at the WL Villas. Better yet rent points from an owner and it will be even cheaper. Just a few more options to think about.

But if the three of you stay in a one bedroom, you will be sharing a bathroom. Will that be a problem? She won't have any place to change in the AM except for the bathroom.

OP, I see by your sig that you are going to POR in May. I would book her a room of her own, but see if you could get connecting rooms. Then you could mix and mingle when you wanted to, but have your own private space when you didn't. We've had connecting rooms at POR a couple times, and one room would have one king bed and the other two doubles, if that makes a difference.
