We just got back from a 2 week FL vacation; cruise (7 day), Disney Vero Beach (3 nights) and BLT (3 nights).
We are not fans of Disney food and although we never had the food at Vero, it was quite expensive, so we didn't even try it.
We had Disney rewards card valued at around $23.50.
Out of that came breakfast at Roaring Fork (waffles for him, coffee for me), some other food item (can't remember what it was), a toy car for my neighbor's son who took care of our cat and the final purchase, a Mickey head Rice Krispie treat for the same child (we also gave him hard cold cash).
The last purchase required one penny to use up the card. Anyone ever get away with just spending one penny at Disney?
PS We did buy groceries (at Publix) and I happily cooked.
