We are 7 months from our cruise, and are staying onsite the night before (no parks). The choices (of the resorts I am interested in trying) are Copper Creek studio with a walk in shower or Old Key West (not near HH). Any feedback on these? I haven't stayed at either one yet. If we pick OKW, what are the odds that one near HH (which I would have to waitlist) will come through? We will be having a car service take us to the port so I want to be close to the pick up point. CC is only 3 points more than OKW.

I would do OKW if it is no parks. Car service should be willing to come to your building.

We love CCV so much, we decided not to do parks the next time we stay there just so we can really appreciate the resort. That’s just what we like though! Good luck with your choice!

This is the reason I would pick CC!

Both are nice but fairly different from each other. I'd probably say CCV for a single night with plans to just stay at the resort. There's more restaurants there plus a whole other selection at CR or FW that are just a boat ride away.

If OKW it's a nice relaxing tropical feel and a Turtle Krawl at the Gurgling suitcase is a nice way to end a day! A car service would be able to go right to your building there - you would not need to be in the HH section or building.

We are doing this in May: CCV studio pre-cruise, cruise, BCV studio post cruise. No parks, just pools and laundry when we get back. Will request 4th floor across from laundry room at BCV lol... I wonder if anyone has actually done that, haha!

Depending upon your traveling party, remember OKW studios have 2 queen beds. Other studios are bed + sleeper sofa or maybe a Murphy.

I'd pick CCV and in fact we did do just that. We had a Carnival cruise in October and drove down from NC and stopped for the night at CCV. We did Epcot F&W and then went back to CCV to enjoy an evening in the Reunion Station lounge. We got up and had breakfast in RS lounge before heading off to the cruise port. It was nice.

I’m going to do this now in April thank you! We are staying in a bcv studio right in the middle of a longer split stay and would love to have easy laundry access at night. Do you happen to know if the laundry room is 24 hours?
