I joined these boards in October and have enjoyed planning my April Trip. (Yes...I think I am addicted) Thanks to all of your help, I have finally come up with an incrediblie meal itinerary. I just need a little more help planning the last dinner of the trip. Please take a look at my plan and offer some suggestions for a final feast. Would you make any changes? This will be my 10 year old daughters first trip to Disney. Last Trip: 10+ years...Honeymoon.

Friday: Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe
Saturday: Dinner at Hoop Dee Doo Review
Sunday: Dinner at Rose & Crown
Monday: Dinner at Le Cellier
Tuesday: Dinner at Wolf Gang Pucks Cafe...followed by La Nouba
Wednesday: Dinner at O'Hanas
Thursday: Lunch at Sci-Fi
Dinner at Brown Derby (Fantasmic Package)
Friday: ??????????????????

I don't know where you are staying, but I would suggest Boma at AKL. I think you and your dd would enjoy a visit there.

Hi How about Cape May or California Grille?? If you dine early enough at Cape May you can walk over and watch Illuminations or you could dine a little later and watch WISHES from the CG! Joan

I don't know if your daughter is really into the characters, but we went with a 2 and 4 yo so lots of character dining for us...We LOVED 1900 Park Fare and we always love to visit the Grand Floridian. We went for breakfast and the food and character interaction was great- it was Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger. Next time we will try dinner with Cinderella and friends. We also had the princess storybook lunch at Akershus in the Norway Pavillion in Epcot and we liked that too. The food is different- lots of seafood, but we like to try different foods in the World Showcase. Enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

Wow! Looks great- almost identical to our upcoming trip! On top of the other good suggestions, what about a Boardwalk night? You could eat at Spoodles or Beaches & Cream or Flying Fish. I know a 10 year old would love Beaches & Cream...

i only see one character meal there... how 'bout something w/a princess or two? norway in epcot for breakfast lunch or dinner or 1900 park fair for dinner...

I would suggest either Boma's or the Crystal Palace. Boma's is truly a unique dining experience and the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a must see. I also suggest the Crystal Palace because it is a very nice buffet of traditional foods as well as Character dining with Winnie the Poo and Friends. You can't go wrong with either of these choices. Enjoy!!!!!!

I notice you have a lot of dinners. I would suggest breaking that up and have some more breakfasts and lunches.

I would also, wholeheartedly suggest Teppanyaki for your final meal, it is to die for and the kids would love it!!

I agree with the above poster that a night at the Boardwalk would be great fun. We love Flying Fish and Spoodles.

Boma would be another wonderful choice, too. Be sure to take time to visit the overlooks to see the animals and shop in the great store.

This is some great advice! I cannot wait until April. I definately need to figure in a Board Walk Night.

Also, I am eligible for the Dining Plan and the DDE Card. Which one would your recommend? Perhaps I could use both?????

We love Boma. Eaten there twice, first time we were not even staying at the AKL. Another alternate would be 1900 Park Fair, a princess meal your DD might like.

As for the boardwalk area, we really like Cape May but you have to like seafood, like we do.

How about a princess meal to end it all - 1900 Park Fare, Princess Storybook Dinner in Epcot, or dinner at the Castle.

If you are an AP holder or a Florida resident you can purchase the DDE card. I don't know about the dining plan though since we have the DDE card.

This is easy - California Grill. Make a ADR for 1.5 - 2 hours before the fireworks show for the night. Have an awesome meal at a nice pace and watch the fireworks as you finish dessert!

You gotta experience it!
