That is the normal format for dates in Canada (and all the civilized world, for some reason they write month-day-year in the States, though).

I actually thought that perhaps you had taken the pics at another time and just used them 'cause they were handy now. Imagine my DOH! moment when I realized it was, of course, Canadian (and European, and Scandanavian, and whatever else Haley said) date structure!!

The backwards? pirate hat looks great on you, but I agree - you need more Johnny Depp eyeliner - that smokey eyes look is 'in' don't ya know?! Hey, how hot was it that night at MNSSHP? We are going to the party on Oct. 5th. We usually go at the end of October on Halloween night, but we have to go earlier this year. Just got back from vaca, from mourning the end of vaca and from pitching a hissy about not being able to take a vaca from my vaca. So how pleased was I to see the updates!? (Pleased. Really.)

I refuse to repost the (gulp) mole picture. I threw up in my mouth twice when I saw that. Then, everytime it was reposted until I was scrolling like a madwoman to get past it, pretending not to see it the whole time (Hum, hum, hum, scroll, scroll, scroll, no hideousness on THIS screen, hum, hum, hum, scroll, scroll, scroll.)

I have to agree with you that there was no need to make the pirates more politically correct. They are PIRATES for crap's sake. That's half of what makes them appealing. And just to be clear Johnny Depp, not scurvy, is the other half. Mmmm. Moving on.

Can't wait to hear about MNSSHP. Planning to go next year. I've heard the fairytales and the horror stories. I have a feeling yours is going to fall somewhere in the realm of epic autobiographical comedy.
