One day to rest-good enough?

On another thread, I read about renting a Beach Cottage for cash, to start our 40th Anniversary celebration one day earlier next June. Then I remembered...I was dog tired (but happy) after the 5 night VWL vacation we had with the whole family last year. (We're doing another one of those this year over Halloween week.) So, instead of making our 3VB/3BWV night vacation longer in either direction for the family, DH and I decided to extend our vacation at the far end and I booked AKV concierge studio to plop in and relax after the family go home. I think we did OK we do not have any more vacation days to book for DH, so the Saturday night is it. Will we enjoy the concierge level even if it's only for 1 night? We don't want to do safari or anything, we want to wave good bye to family and head somewhere just the 2 of us can have some time alone. Even if we went home on Saturday, we couldn't pick up our dogs until Monday, and, I'm always sad to be home without them.

Is one day concierge level enough? Or should I just get us a room somewhere to chill out. The points are NOT a problem, most of them were banked from this year, and have to be used.

I think it sounds great. Relax for the day and soak in the flavor of AKL/V! You will have time to enjoy the lounge and the whole resort.

We stayed 1 day at AKV and it is very relaxing. Concierge will be even better
