one day tickets

We need to buy a 1 day ticket for MK for our DD (the rest of us have APs). Do we get this at the TTC or at the MK gates? I know last year we had to go to TTC to activate our APs. Is early entry available for 1 day ticket holders?

You may purchase 1-Day 1-Park tickets at the Ticket and Transportation Center or at the Guest Relations Window at the Magic Kingdom gate.

Extra Magic Hour (early entry) is offered only to guets staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. As long as you have your Walt Disney World Resort ID card (room key), it does not matter what type of ticket you use to enter the theme park.
