Hello,

We are currently at WDW on 10 Day Tix. We may need to purchase one more day (we have fam coming in after they expire). My question is, have you ever purchased a1 day tkt from the local stores that advertise discounted 1 day tix? If not, what is my best bet to get the cheapest price?

TIA,
V

There aren't discounts on 1 and 2 day tickets. Run away from those advertisements.

Is the family coming after they EXPIRE (14 days after first use) or after they are used up (10 days worth of visits)??

If it is the second option above, I would just skip the parks one of the days and 'hold' one day left on the ticket until the family shows up.

There is no such thing as a cheap 1 day ticket and as much as I love my family - there is no WAY I'd spend $400 for our family of 4 to go to one additional day in the park with my family. I would tell them we could hang at the pool with them and go to DTD or a character meal (out of parks) together, then head to FW for the outdoor movie...maybe even watch the fireworks together from the Poly beach or similar.

You could add WP&M option to your tickets and use a water park day in the middle of your trip. It would be cheaper than a one day ticket.

Disney does not discount or wholesale out one or two day tickets. If an authorized reseller does sell these, they will normally charge about a $5 premium over Gate for the "convenience". Any place that advertises a one day ticket for less than Gate is either a time share or or illegal sales of used multi-day tickets.

The actual best price for one-day ticks is at the Gate.

My thoughts also. And, you would get 10 extra uses. You could go to Disney Quest, play some rounds of miniature golf, along with the water parks. And, if you already have the park hopper ticket, this upgrade is under $30 per ticket.
