We will be stopping in Orlando on the way home from Miami and want to go to Magic Kingdom for a day. We will stay 2 night with one day pass. My question is: How is the best way and cheapest way to do this? I've seen post about staying on-site to get the magic band &FP. Can you not get FP if you stay off-site? Will the FP be that important? We will be in the park July 11. I did see where we can purchase tickets on line from USSSA.com for $85 a day. Just in some disboard feedback! Thanks:thumbsup2

you can get MB at DTD and inside MK however if you are going one day I dont think is worth it.

In regards to getting your ticket offsite I am not sure how that works with the new ticket style. Perhaps someone else can shed light.

You do not need to stay onsite to get FP+, you do need to buy and link your ticket in My Disney Experience. And staying offsite means you can book your 3 advance FP at 30 days prior, vs 60 days in advance if staying on property. You do not get magic bands if staying off property, though you can purchase them if you want them. They are NOT needed to use FP+, your ticket is RFID enabled so can tap the card at the readers instead of the band. The catch is if going to Magic Kingdom, there are 2 attractions that are frequently gone before 30 days prior, that being the Anna and Elsa meet & greet, and 7 Dwarves Mine Train. But everything else is generally open even a few days in advance. The way FP works now is everyone gets 3 to book in advance from the My Disney Experience website or app, then once you have used your 3 in the park, everyone can go to a kiosk and get a 4th pass (though availability may be limited).

OK, great. My next question is what app do I need to download for an iphone?
How many FP can we get once we are in the park?

is that site recent? Coz that is VERY cheap (even with factoring in tax.)

MK is now 105.00

offsite people can get FP 30 days in advance. you are allowed 3 then after that is done you can get another at any kiosk in the park

My Disney Experience is the app. If waiting til you are in the park it probably will be faster to go to a kiosk

You must prebook 3. Then either use all three, or use at least one of them and wait for the others to expire. At that point you can visit a kiosk inside the park and book a 4th fastpass, subject to availability. I think once you use that one you can book another.

Just purchased my tickets today at $85 per ticket! I know great price.
Once I get my tickets in the mail I'm going to enter them into MDE on the website and reserve 3 FP just wanted the app as a backup. My friend went back in the fall and one of their FP wasn't scanning and she showed them her FP time on her phone app and they let them in.
