One became SEVEN?!? How did THAT happen? 4/24 UPDATE

It looks as if you are having a school carnival? The booths look great. :goodvibes I am happy you had help and no fussing from me, you know what you need to do for you and the baby. :thumbsup2

It is amazing how folks (even our families) step up to help and then again, they don't. You know what you need the most and you know your MIL the best. I am thankful you have your Mom who will help! :grouphug:

I am trying to keep things updated here, but we all know how that can change on a dime. I am just appreciative fro those of you who understand when i am NOT able to keep up here. I know it is frustrating to sign on and not have e to be able to respond. I am still in the honeymoon phase from our last trip and not worn down yet.

Dance will be there for Sarah when you have more time. Before Lisa got her dance scholarships, I bought several DVD's about dancing for her to do at home. I couldn't afford the lessons, but she wanted to dance and that was my solution, just a thought.

I hope you have a restful weekend!! :goodvibes

It was the kids elementary school carnival. They had a great time today and love getting to see their friends. I will say I'm glad it's over though!! I'm done with any and all planning (well expect for the new baby and Jeremy's birthday in February) the rest of this school year. Already told all my in-laws I am not planning any holidays and if they want to see us they better plan it.

Well I know I'm here whether you can update or not. When your not here we do miss you and worry that everything isn't ok.

I like the idea of the DVD's. I'll have to look into that. Then that may also let me know for sure if she wants to take lessons or not.

I hope your able to have a nice, fun weekend.

It is scary to see they all tiny hooked up to all the lines but so far everything is doing good! Thank your for your prayers!

It is scary but just remember they are there to help him as needed.

Glad to hear your sister was able to go home. He is a cutie!!! Thank you for sharing! Continued prayers!

Great resort pictures, Judy. That sure is a lot of room for your family.

What a cute little frog who hitched a ride. :)
Thanks Kathy, I LOVE this resort. The extra kitchen comes in handy, because I use it to spread out the children's medicine and it makes a great stage for that. Housekeeping asked if I was running a hospital in there. :rotfl2:

It is a little scary when they are all hooked up to machines, Ive gotten pass the point when I jump when ever a machine beeps, Ive learnt the important beeps from the not so important beeps.
Over 2lbs is awesome! They were predicting him to be smaller so we are so happy he is as big as he is!

It is gut-wrenching to see a child hooked up to all those machines and so scary when they are yours. I made sure I prepared Pete for what he would see before we went into NICU to see Lisa. You will be a pro on everything before you go home. I am thankful the nurses are great. That two pound mark makes a huge difference, I am so happy!! :goodvibes Now to just get him bigger/stronger!!

AWN, hes cute, glad David released him somewhere safer than the luggage cart!
Great updates Judy! Glad you have had some time to do them. I feel bad I havent been able to check in as often, but you are keeping everyone entertained

I was glad the little frog he wasn't any bigger. David is my bug hunter, he used to catch them all the time when he was little, Now he rescues them. I am determined to TRY and stay caught up/on-track. :goodvibes NO worries, we all know where you are and that you will be here when you can! :goodvibes I have missed you, thanks for the emails/pics. :goodvibes
My sister got released today, all her levels are back to normal now that the pesky placenta is out of the way.
Emile is right on track, no complecations he is just tiny and needs to grow a bit.
He is as cute as can be, he kinds of reminds me of a new born kitten, wrinkly and eyes not open yet. :)

I know this is really dark, his 'pod' is kept dark (unless he need the UV light for jaundice, but he gets 'sunglasses' when he sun tans.)
This me and my nephew:
file_zpseb65ee84.jpg

I appreciate all the prayers and kind words! :goodvibes
I already knew this, I just want to rejoice once again here!! :yay::dance3::yay::dance3::yay: As I told you, I lightened up the pic so we could see Emile better, he is a CUTIE!!!!
Praising God for all of the good news!

Yea for a fun time at the carnival, that the children saw their friends and that it is OVER!!!! I don't blame you for turning the reigns over to someone else, I am proud of you! :thumbsup2

It is a comfort to know you are praying for me/us, Thank you!

I think the DVD;s WOULD be a great way for her to decide if she enjoys it or not. Lisa was passionate about it, did them al of the time.

It is amazing how much extra time I have on the weekend now that David's doesn't have activities every Saturday and Bandit is already trained as a therapy dog. But of course, other things find a way to suck my time, just in a different way. No complaints, they will be grown and gone one day and I will be lost!

I hoep YOU have a relaxing Sunday! :goodvibes

I have hosted both Thanksgiving and Christmas the last 2 years and I refused to do it again. I told DH back in June (after we found out that we were expecting) that I wasn't doing it again this year. Just too much prep (cleaning, grocery shopping, etc.) for me. He agreed and said he'd back me up. The only one I think that is the most upset about it is my Sister in law. But oh well I'm not to worried about it and I'm not going to stress about it. If we don't see anyone at least we'll have some nice relaxing holiday's!!

I know your like me in that regards. We both love to enjoy the time we have with our little one's (well yours not so little anymore but they will always be your little one's) as much as we can!!

I plan on it!! I think the only thing we are doing tomorrow is NOTHING!! Well I'll sleep in but other than that not much going to happen. Enjoy yours as well!

And how did I once again forget to post about your room!! I love how the girls look sooo small in that big bed!!! Great accommodations!! I'm glad you guys were there and able to hopefully just relax!

I always have hosting duties as well. I am happy you are going to do what you need to for YOU and your family. You deserve a nice, relaxing holiday and the family knows where you are. :goodvibes

I do enjoy my children and I am fortunate, they enjoy me. They actually LIKE spending time with us and each other! That makes me happy. ::yes::

Oh to sleep in late, 'twould be grand! I woke up at 3:55 and couldn't go back to sleep OR DIS (Nightly shutdown that lasted until after 5 AM). You deserve a down day, well...as much of a down day as a Mom of three littles can have!!!

We really were blessed by that villa, and we DID relax! I am still feeling the happy effects of the trip! Of course, it doesn't hurt to have another trip to look forward to!!!

Ooh I would love sleep. I collapse by 10 and then wake every hour until 5. Not a good thing.

Love the pictures of the resort you stayed at.

Hi Judy, I am at the airport getting ready to fly home after a great weekend in Louisiana. I will probably post some pictures to my TR in the next few weeks. I know Rachel will make it to New Orleans someday and she will love it, I know I did!

I got to meet an alum from my school who founded A Child's Wish of Louisiana and he had so many great stories about granting wishes and spending time with wish kids!

Your villa looks amazing!! I am so happy you guys are renting a house for your next trip as well. Hotels are always nice but having more space in a villa or house is such a blessing.

Tracy, precious baby, glad you were able to be there.

Judy, we got our tickets last night.

Oh...the pictures of vacation village bring back such fond memories! We loved our time there as well. Perfect for large family or two families traveling together, which was our case. Nice and quiet for an enjoyable time after the busy parks. The paver pictures are adorable. Lisa is beaming in her photos!

Metrolina is out on Statesville road at what looks like a fair ground area. It's a antique show and expo. They have a huge fall extravaganza the first weekend in Nov. looking forward to search for some treasures.

Tracy, glad Your sister and nephew are doing well. Thank you for sharing his photo.

Judy, Love the villa. How perfect for your family. That little frog reminded me of a trip to Nebraska when my kids were younger. There were many frogs just like that around the campground we stayed at. Jenna and Jonnie spent many happy hours following frogs around and trying to catch them. Don't worry about not catching my calls I'm sure we will have a chance to chat sometime. I may try calling again today but if I dont reach you I will try again next weekend.

Pregnancy should preclude you from hosting! And NOW you have a newborn so....

Ooh I would love sleep. I collapse by 10 and then wake every hour until 5. Not a good thing.
Love the pictures of the resort you stayed at.

OOOH I hear you Chiara, sleep is an elusive creature in my life too. May we BOTH get better sleep! :thumbsup2 But I don't have a newborn either, you expend a lot of energy all day everyday and you NEED some rest!

Yea for pics, Rachel and I will both enjoy them. :goodvibes I have got to get her there someday! I hope you enjoyed the weekend very much, how exciting you were able to meet the Alum, that is so special. Wish stories ARE powerful.

David said just yesterday he was glad we would be staying in a home. He is a creature of habit and loves things to "feel" the same. He has already told Tracy he wants to play games and watch movies at the house...and she remembered, so while looking at homes she has been checking to see if it looks comfortable to watch the TV as a family...isn't that just the sweetest??? :lovestruc

Tracy, precious baby, glad you were able to be there.

Judy, we got our tickets last night.
YEA!!!!! Have fun tonight! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Allyson, I forgot you had stayed there too. (I will not even make any cracks about my memory. :sad2: NOT good). It is such a great resort and the staff is supurb. We even have a favorite check-in person. :thumbsup2

I am so glad we made the decision to get Lisa the paver (it is also tax deductible people if anyone wants a "legacy" and it comes with a book and certificate).

Metrolina Fair Grounds!!! That isn't too far from me and near where Pete worked for nearly 13 years before they went ka-put. My Mom used to love to go to the antique show/expo, I have been with her, but it has been years, Christian was a toddler. WE MUST MEET in between your looking for treasures!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Krystal, it would be a great place for you all, the W?C fits well through wide doors and with a little arranging of the dining table John could have plenty of room to move, FYI. The children looked for more of the tiny frogs, we never did see any others though. :confused3

Please do try to call. :goodvibes I am not sure who is :drive: Rachel to Jazz today, BUT I hope it is Pete. :lmao: I REALLY want to hear how things are going.:hug::hug:

Judy I’m so glad I saw your new ticker. I am forever behind so missed this fantastic new trip coming up. WOOT WOOT and How nice to meet Tracy. The DIS has just turned out to be such a wonderful group of people.
I’m reading up and LOVE LOVE the MLP photos from GKTW. I see that Lisa is (like my Katie) definitely outgrowing her little girl face and fully into the tween years. Such a beautiful family you have Judy.
I had a funny dream the other night were I was watching a play of Beauty & the Beast and a grown up Lisa was playing Belle and in my dream I was thinking how awesome that she had her wish to be a princess as Belle and here she is performing Belle as an adult. See, even though I am AWOL a lot, you & your family are in my thoughts quite a bit!
I would love to hear more about Celebration. Its also on our list of places to explore but it always gets bumped for park time!
For Bushdianee….I am so sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine how difficult it is for your family.

For Tracy – congrats on the birth of Emile – I am glad to hear they are doing well & hope he continues to grow & thrive.
Love all the pictures at GKTW and Lisa's paver.
How nice of your brother to let you use his timeshare again. It does look like a great place! lots of room.

Just found this website that I thought you and Judy would like to look over called Satisfying Eats. Grain-Free and Sugar Free Recipes from a Southern cook. You can read about Melissa's story here http://satisfyingeats.wordpress.com/about/ and she has recipes that she has remade. I like her recipes because they are diabetic friendly and she looks like a Disney fan too! She was using a Mickey head cookie cutter to make chocolate graham crackers. (scroll down the page) https://www.facebook.com/SatisfyingEats

You can also register for free to hear interviews for the first Gluten Summit November 11 to 17 where "29 of the world’s experts and opinion leaders on the topics of gluten-related disorders, nutrition and healthy living for a series of online interviews".

Judy, Glad that the family got to enjoy the same resort and I wouldn't mind living there too! Someone else does the yard work :) Hope the books are enlightening and helpful.

Tracy, Glad you got to meet your new little nephew. Keeping him and your sister in my prayers. Thanks for sharing a picture of him.

Judy, I love the resort pictures, the children look happy.

Tracy, thank you for the picture of Emile, he is tiny and precious.

GARRY! Thank you for the donation to the MAW walk in honor of Wendy. I do pray she is well. :goodvibes:goodvibes

You are welcome. We weren't able to participate in our local Walk for Wishes this year, so I'm glad to be able to do so.

As far as Wendy - she had to have her spleen, gall bladder and some Lymph Nodes removed a few weeks ago because her tumor had metastisized. But under the circumstances she is doing well. The Lord has helped her to have a great attitude about her health issues.

Hi Ladies,

Tracy thanks for sharing your wonderful new nephew!! Congratulations to you and your family!!! Saying prayers for mom, baby, and all of you!!!

Judy loving the pictures of your last trip!!! The pony, the paving stone, the stars, and the ice cream are reminders of all the magic!!!! So glad you guys got to relive it again!!!! Oh and pictures of the resort look awesome!!!! Although I must admit I am confused by the 2 of everything!!! :confused3 It sounds totally awesome to have so much room but I'm wondering is that how all there units are set up or is their a reason you ended up with 2?!? So glad that you could get a room away from the elevator noise. That worked out great!!!

Okay see you both soon to hear more!!!! :yay::beach:pixiedust:

I don't mind hosting but when I'm going to be 7+ months pregnant it's just to much. Not that I don't enjoy spending time with our families it's just so much I can do. I need to be able to come and go not be stuck with people who don't know how to leave.

That is always a great feeling when they want to be with you and each other!! Mine still have issues playing together but they are still learning.

I got to sleep in until about 9:30 am. But I did get woke up about 2 am by a crying 3 year old. Poor baby woke up very congested and complaining that his mouth hurt. Once I put on the humidifier, gave him some medicine and cuddled with him for a little bit he finally calmed down and went back to sleep. But that didn't help me in falling back to sleep until about 4 am. Thank goodness DH was able to get up with this kids this morning and let me get that rest.

I did ,this last year and it made me very happy. I don't enjoy hosting events so it was an easy out.

I don't mind hosting but being 7+ months pregnant is just too much. I'm actually looking forward to a less stress holiday's this year.
