Hi.
I have an AP.
I am traveling, offsite, with two friends, both of which have a one-day ticket to MK.
I made the ressies and they are both on my MDE (they do not have their own MDE).
We are going to MK the Tuesday after Easter so it will be mobbed.
I do not want to wait on line at GS to get them a card and they are not buying a MB for one day (although one thinks she has one).
Do I just bring a copy of their tickets and bar code to scan? (They gave me the money and I purchased the tickets so I have everything).

I asked this once before but I am not sure if I have to get a card and since then, I have not read one person using the paper barcode to scan in.

Also, I am purchasing G+ for that day. What do they scan to get onto the attractions?

Thank you so much for any help you can give me since I want to get into the park as seamless as possible and waiting to get into Adventure Land at RD for all guests.

By far the easiest way would be for them to get their own MDX accounts and then set up MagicMobile on their phones. Otherwise, I can't think of a way to avoid waiting in a potentially very long ticketing line Easter week.

In general, it's a good idea for every adult visiting the parks to have their own account. Adults-managing-other-adults' profiles gets screwy, and Disney IT isn't the best, as we know.

Thank you. Why do they need Magic Mobile? For instance, when I go to Disney, I am the G+ keeper even though my mom or family have a MDE app. I'm just trying to understand if they have MM on their phones, what is the difference and why would they need to not go to the GS vs going if I am keeper (like I am with my family).

How is your mom clicking into the park? Presumably she has a MagicBand or physical ticket?

MagicMobile is essentially a digital MagicBand. They don't have to actually DO anything in the app or anywhere else, they'll just use their phone to scan into the park.

Cap makes a good point. Magic Mobile is a way to store and use digital tickets without bothering to purchase a magicbands or standing in line at GS.

As the keeper of the tickets, you could link their tickets to your Magic Mobile wallet on your phone, much like a parent can store all tickets for their family on one device. You would have to scan them into the park and to any touchpoint. I am not sure that this was intended for use by a party of all adults though.

If they make their own MDX account, you can transfer the tickets to each of them and they can add their ticket to their wallet on their phone via Magic Mobile.

I think this would technically work, but it would probably confuse the cast. If I scan into the park on my own MagicBand and then pull out my phone to scan in the two adults traveling with me, the cast members are going to look at me like I have three heads.

You can just pull up the info on your DME at park entrance, the CM will have ticket media to give them, they can use that for G+ and ILL.

Thank you. My bff has no clue about her phone and what to do. I just tried (but deleted the card) and can put both of them on my MM.

Thank you. Maybe I should just have them purchase MBs?

Thank you. This is what I THOUGHT but wasn't sure. So, when we get to the tapstyle, what next after I scan in and there are hundreds or thousands of people behind us? Do I start my story with the CM? Do I use my MM cards I have for them and scan them? Do I just immediately ask for one of the CMs with the ipad to come over?

Thank you very much!
