That makes total sense. She probably would have played it cool at first hoping to get out of the situation without his identity being revealed in front of Henry. But that breaks down when she asks for his name. Two reasons why I thought he was Henry's dad:
1) We've been told that we'll meet him at some point. And really, how is that supposed to happen unless Emma leaves Storybrooke or the father comes to Storybrooke. We won't be meeting him in a flashback unless he's an actual fairytale character which seems impossible.
2) The timing of it. Emma had just finished saying to Henry that she's glad that she told him (lied to him) about his Dad... and that's the exact moment when this mysterious stranger shows up? Just seemed too much of a coincidence...
File this thought away for later... Names are important. Snow and Charming weren't supposed to let Rumpel know their names when they were taken to visit him. The most excited we've ever seen him was when they started to walk away without giving him the baby's name. The beggar man made a point to tell Rumpel that the Dark One's name was on the dagger. That was replaced with Rumpel's name when he killed the Dark One. The plot of Rumpel's fairy tale centers on the miller's daughter finding out his name. So, is the "Mysterious Stranger" purposefully keeping his name a secret to prevent Rumpel(or anyone else) from having power over him?
