we got a softsided cooler at target for about 15 bucks before hand....it fit around 20 bottles of beer in it and the stateroom attendant kept ice in it...we just kept it in the bathtub incase it leaked, but really didnt. We just put the bottles in, went through security and carried it on board (with no ice of course) it was heavy but once we got to buffet we got to set it down until our room was ready.

We just booked our family's 3rd Disney Cruise on the Dream for 10/16. Can't wait! We have two teenage daughters (ages 17 and 15 at cruise time). Would love to hear from others who are going with teenagers. The new teen area looks fantastic!

I really love this countdown.

We've had beautiful weather here recently -- upper 60s, windows open. Then Thursday night we had tornado warnings, wind, and rain. I even wound up putting the heat on for a short while last night to warm the house up before company came over for dinner.

We just booked our family's 3rd Disney Cruise on the Dream for 10/16. Can't wait! We have two teenage daughters (ages 17 and 15 at cruise time). Would love to hear from others who are going with teenagers. The new teen area looks fantastic!

So far there's not too many of us with teens. My son will be 15 and my daughter 17 too. We are so looking forward to this vacation!

My son will be 2 weeks from turning 15 when we sail.

We are doing my DDs birthday party tomorrow. She will be 8 next week.

On 2 bad notes DFs ex has a bee in her bonnet and wouldn't let us get DSS this weekend. Both younger kids are crushed about the party. DSS doesn't understand, and we don't know what we did this time. Its a regular thing....Probably mad because he won't pay Child Support early. Life will be so nice when he come back to live with us in March!

I missed the back step last night and now have a nasty sprain to my ankle. I thought I broke it. I can't really walk on it and have a birthday party to do tomorrow! What fun.

Hi everyone! My daughter and I just returned from cruising on the Disney Dream Feb 20-24. It was AMAZING! We took a girls only trip with my mom to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday. While onboard, we booked this cruise to return with my husband and our son. We'll have to leave Nana at home though =) We participated in the FE and it was so much fun! I didn't participate in the thread for the last cruise very much as I joined it kind of late...however, I hope to get to know all of you somewhat before October. It will be my husband, Greg (41), myself, Tracy (36), son, Cade (11) and daughter (5). We are on deck 7 but I can't recall our stateroom number right now. I'll have to find our paperwork. And I see quite a few of you are in Alabama...we are too! Please add us to the FE list!

Our son will be just turned 11 when we cruise and we're on deck 7 also. Maybe they'll buddy up and spend time in the Tween area together.

My daughter will be turning 6 when on board and my oldest DD will be 12. We should have a great time!

We survived the birthday!!! I am barely able to walk. I honestly think my ankle is broke. I am going to my regular dr tomorrow for a 2nd opinion.

Yay for surviving the birthday!

Boo for needing to go to the doctor! Praying for a fast recovery.

My DH & DD both had the stomach virus this past week. DS & I are praying we don't get it now. My parents are coming up Thursday and we have lots planned to do with them. Now just wouldn't be a good time to get sick. Like there really ever is a "good" time for that.

So ready for a vacation.

I have a teenager too. My step-son is 15 years old and really, really looking forward to spending time in the teen club.

Good morning peeps

Well, I had a spare few hours this morning so, being the sad person that I am I decided to go through the whole thread and make a list of everyone whos cruising inc names where poss and ages.

According to my list theres 30 families going, althoguh we havent heard off some of them since their first post. Come on people - if you're lurking and reading then please post a hello and get this thread moving!

Please add me to the FE list - I've been undecided til now worrying about space in suitcases etc for a 17 day trip, but I'll just have to make room some how!

Karen (me) 44, Neil DH - 42, DS Ellis - 11. We are in room 7521 and my DS has a severe nut allergy so please no nuts or nut products in our goodie bags.

I get confused between the 2 b2b cruises and forget who is on which, so it was just my way of trying to keep them seperate.
Its not for FE or anything like that, ... it was just for my own brains benefit
