Once In A Lifetime Must Dos?

I'm also laughing at the " Once in a Lifetime " idea. We did our " once in a lifetime trip in 2004 and have been many times since. It just sort of hooks you in!
My advice is to make time to just sit in the parks with an Ice cream or coffee for 20 mins and let the magic of it wash over you.

We're also going for the first time, on 26/7, getting really giddy now. Our boys will be 13 & 10, and I've been saving for this trip for literally years, waiting until they are old enough to fully appreciate the trip (and have the stamina for the long days and heat) and be big enough for the main rides.

I'm pretty certain this will be our only trip to WDW, so I've been planning it for ages. I recommend buying the Unofficial Guide to WDW, it invaluable. I've also bought the TouringPlans and Lines apps, as they will give detailed plans for each day and Lines is a more accurate app for daily ride wait times.

enjoy your planning!

We're in the same boat!! Saving for years and really can't see it happening again - or at least not for another 10 years at least lol!!

I will check the apps out, thanks for the recommendation!! Come back and tell me how you all found your holiday

forgot to say one of fav things is a night a polly beach - dinner in kona then cocktails on the beach watching the fireworks over MK castle from across the lake - the music is piped on the beach. - A really relax wind down evening. We do it at either the start or end of our trip. We donot do the parks on day one (tried but it was too much for us). Also dinner out at sanna in the akl lodges - nice evening watching the animals until dark and then dinner.
