Once a worrier, always a worrier?

Is it possible to change or is someone who worries doomed to a lifetime of worrying?

Well, being a worrier, I would say that no, they never really change or stop worrying. It just gets easier the older you get because you know that you are feeling the way you are because you are just a worrier and being aware of it sort of makes it better. Does that make sense?

Science show I watched on television said these feelings are genetic and although one may be able to modify their reactions to the feelings, the feelings can't be easily controlled.

I am a chronic worrier who comes from a long line of worriers. Sadly, based on my experience it seems that the older you get, the more you realize that there is to worry about. Probably not the answer you were looking for, huh?

I dunno, I used to be a much bigger worrier than I am now. Not really sure what changed, but something made me realize that worrying about things I had no control over was just stressing me out, and worrying about things I do have control over just meant I wasn't doing whatever I needed to be doing instead of worrying about it!

Good luck!
