Ultimate Sea Cruises is on the Travel Channel right now (I'm on Mountain Time at the moment) and they will show DCL among them!

Well, they showed the Magic FIRST! If you weren't already watching it or on the board when I posted, you missed it!

I just saw that. On the segment on the DCL it concentrated on the childrens part of the cruise and very little on the adults.

We are 2 adults going without children and I am a little concerned now after seeing that segment due to are there any activities for adults? Would we enjoy this crusie. This is our first cruise and I am wondering if I made the wrong choice on cruises after seeing that.

I think they concentrated on the children because it was selected as the best "family cruise." They did show Castaway Cay and adults in Palo and some of the family recreational activities, as well as the stateroom and verandah I believe.

I have never had children but have done two WONDERful DCL cruises. My third will be on Halloween (taking my adult nephew for his birthday) and I have a western booked for next year. I think you will LOVE it, even as adults with no kids, unless you are just "not into Disney." If you don't really like Disney, you might not enjoy the cruise.

Thanks taswira for your reasurance. We are REALLY into DISNEY.
We are definately keeping our reservation but that segment kinda unnerved me a bit due to it mostly concentrated on the children and very little on the adults.

2:00 a.m. Saturday on the East Coast ... Hmmmmm .. well that works out great for me! Its 8:00P.M. my time! woohoo! :D

Think I'll be able to catch this one!

Minybear - don't worry you will love the cruise! We are two adults (age-wise) who are eagerly awaiting our 5th DCL cruise next May.

Another person to calm your little fear, Minybear. DH & I did the 3 day cruises w/o kids and did not feel like we were on a "kid's cruise". It's good to be "into" Disney, because it's everywhere! There are so many things to do that are "adult only". We even went to the adult-only beach at Castaway Cay, so we didn't have to listen to little voices! You'll have plenty to do!

I did catch that last night on the Travel Channel. Wasn't very long or very much at all. Looked god to me. We are a couple cruising in December without children.

Thanks everyone for ALL your reassurance :).

My husband is still not into doing a cruise any cruise. He would rather be at WDW. He would jump at the chance on me canceling our 4 night crusie for January and extending our stay at the BCV's. I am bound and determined more then ever in keeping this resv and proving to him that we will enjoy this cruise and there may be future cruises in our future.

I have a friend whose mom & aunt just went together - 2 older ladies - and they had the time of their lives. They enjoyed the children from afar, but thought that there was PLENTY to do for adults only. They are Disney lovers and raved about the ship. For what it's worth, don't let that DH of yours dissuade you!
