? on transferring points

Hi,

I have 49 banked points that expire on 5/31. Am I able to transfer to those points to another owner? Or, do I need to make make a ressie and post on the rent/trade board?

I'm new to DVC and don't know all of the rules yet.

I don't know this from first hand experience but I have read that banked or borrowed points can not be transfered. Good luck on using those points.

i read your post on the rent/trade and you said the points were banked, so banked points cannot be transferred, you will have to make the ressies. and the check out date would have to accure on or before may 31.

I just recently transferred points to a friends account and was told that transferred points could not be borrowed or banked points, but must be points from the current use year. The person they are transferred to can then back them if they want. Hope this helps.

With such short notice, I'd try to make what you can in a studio then just get your maint fees back or slightly more if your lucky. Good luck.

It seems that your only options are to use them yourself or book a vacation for someone else.
