On the Deluxe DP what is considered an appetizer?

Is it only what's listed under the appetizer's or can you get a salad or soup instead?

Appetizers are anything listed as an appetizer or a soup or small salad (depending on the restaurant).

Was any sushi considered an appetizer at CG? When I did the basic plan (back when the appetizer was included), they restricted the two most expensive sushi dishes to entrees.

What the heck happened to the cheese? I was up there in January and I saw someone else getting the cheese. But it's not on that menu.
