If I'm looking at a pic of the Boardwalk and I see the Boardwalk sign, Screendoor and Big River and the buildings are red and yellow is that the side of the villas overlooking the boardwalk? So if you ahve a boardwalk view thsi is what you wodul have? Do all these rooms have a view of Epcot and/or IllumiNations? (i think they would, but what about thsoe rooms on the inside facing that small court?) I wonder if I shoudl call MS and add IllumiNatiosn view to my ressie? (although I don't take requests to mena very much anymore..., another topic! LOL)

Anyoen know of a link that list all the stores and restauranst with a map? I'm assuming that if it is raining it is hard to get to some of these places. There aren't any doors from inside the resort to these places? What about to get into Community Hall?

Thanks!

Yes.

Yes - all of the BW view rooms have a view of the higher level fireworks from Illuminations. The rooms facing the courtyard (aka Village Green) are now considered part of the preferred - garden/pool view category. If you have a guaranteed BW view, you will not be assigned one of those rooms. However, I believe some of those rooms do have at least a partial view of Illuminations (some of the fireworks views in this area are blocked by the BWI). If I had a preferred pool/garden view reservations, I would seriously consider requesting the Village Green view. It's actually quite nice.

No need.

There is a map - but can't help with a link at this time as I am not on my own computer. You must go outside to access the stores, restaurants and Community Hall - no inside hallways from the resort to these areas.

Thanks Carol. I didn't know that. I just made my reservations for next Thanksgiving for a Boardwalk view room so will stop wondering if I will get one of those.

Thanks. That helps alot. Are there any rooms ground level on the boardwalk or do I not need to worry about that?

i'm sure there are no BW view rooms that are ground floor....every BW view room is up at least one story, the entire ground floor level i bleieve is taken up by the stores and restaraunts the entire length of the BW.....i believe there are some ground level rooms that are garden or pool view on the backside of the resort.....
