When staying onsite, I noticed while trying to book a room online that the price increases if theres more adults versus children. Is there any set rate room that isnt dependent on how many people you have? Family of 6.

If you were to book the room for 2 people, and have 5 stay in there is that a problem and would they all get the express pass or just the two?

If you are a family of 6, you need to book 2 rooms...

You need all 5 people registered to get the express pass. The $25 for each extra adult that you will pay is well worth it.:thumbsup2

I'm going to move this to the Universal Resorts and Hotels board.

You can have 2 adults and 3 children in any two bed room without any extra charge. Any extra adults after 2 are charged an extra $25 per night. You can only have a maximum of 4 adults in any room.

Only the people registered in the room will receive a key. This key, with the name of the guest, gets you into early entry and is your express pass.

Thanks for all the info guys, one quick question. Since we are a family of 6, I don't plan on buying another room, I'll just put one on the floor somewhere...

My question is, when you use your room key for the express pass, do they actually check it and read the name and ask for an ID at every ride to match the names? Or can we switch, because one of us wont really be riding any of the rides except a few. So can we exchange cards and such?

What you are trying to do is against fire code, by having 6 in a room. Also the room keys have full names and ages on them and are non transferable. If you want to stay onsite I'm afraid you need to book 2 room.:thumbsup2
