Hi,
I'm trying to plan a trip for October 2013 where we can stay on-site for a week (hopefully get the free DDP) Does anyone know if there is any onsite accommodation which has separate sleeping area...we are travelling with a 15yr old and would like him to have his own room.

The suites have seperate sleeping areas.

The new AOA and the All Star Music are the cheapest suits.

WL has junior suites with fold out couches.

FW has cabins that sleep 6 with seperate sleeping areas.

After that I think you would have to look into the DVCs for those accomodations.

I think this is the complete list, in rough order of increasing cost...

Family suites at ASMu and AoA - sleeper in living room
Cabins at Fort Wilderness - murphy bed in living room
Junior suite at WL - sleeper in living room
One bedroom villa at any DVC (deluxe villa) resort - sleeper in living room
Two bedroom villa at any DVC resort - separate bedroom

You can book villas direct thru Disney, just as you would any other resort room. They're in the Deluxe Villa category on Disney's site.

You may also want to look into having a DVC member make a reservation for you. This is commonly called renting points, and can be significantly less expensive. You can find lots of information on that in the stickies at the top of our Rent/Trade board here on the DIS. If you'd rather work with a broker than directly with an owner, check out our sponsor, Www.dvcbyrequest.com
