I booked back in July 22 for the 2nd week in Feb 23. We always go that week. The rates are now about 30.00 more a night. Does Disney have to honor my lower rate. I booked for my husband and myself, but he cannot go now. It will be just me. Will that make a difference?

Yes, Whatever you booked at, that is the rate you pay, even when they increase rack rates. The only caveat to that is if you cancel & re-book or if you modify. Then you pay the new rate.

Should not be a problem if only one of you go. Unless you booked a package with tickets included. I think you should still be able to remove him (and his ticket cost) without paying the new rate. If it is hotel only, I wouldn't even bother removing him from the room.
