On our way!

I can't figure out how to post pics. I have lots to post. I don't know if the hoop dee doo pic will make it to the internet. I have an image to uphold.

I'll help on the posting pics question.

Set up an account at http://www.photobucket.com (you'll have to create a username and password) and then set up a photo album per trip. So create a "WDW Nov13" album or some name like that in PB.

If you are taking pics by cameraphone, download the Photobucket app and install it on your phone. Use your username and password and the settings option for the default album for all picture uploads to be the folder name you just created. On your phone go through your photo gallery and for each picture to upload, your phone should have a PB option among the choices (email the pic, tweet the pic, text the pic, PB the pic, and other choices). PB the pic.

If you are taking pics on a digital camera and can upload through a laptop, go to the PB website and use the bulk upload tool. Connect the camera to the laptop or pull out the memory card and put it in the card reader, find the folder with your camera pics, and use the PB option to "Bulk Upload" pics to browse the card and highlight the pics to pull up. This will take a few minutes to upload maybe.

For each picture, open it and find the IMG code on the right side in the Links box.

Put your cursor in the IMG code and click once. The word "copied" will flash briefly. Then go to the DIS reply you are writing and hit paste. It will paste the link (IMG code) and that will display the photo in your post.

If you are posting via phone, the experience is a little more awkward but the same premise. Upload pix to PB, copy the IMG code for each picture (one at a time as you are writing the post) and simply paste it into the post.

If this isn't clear come back at me with a question. Me and my buddy here love pics, don't we buddy?

PS - as payment for my assistance, I will accept the posting of the HDDR photo of you as the cast helper in lieu of cash. ;)

Ohanas ! one of ur favorites !! :cool1:

Not only do they have great food, but they also have some of the best Ketchup you'll ever eat !
Be sure to ask for Ketchup.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Sure you're not talking about Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge??

Have eaten at 'Ohanas many times (one of our favorites also), but have never even seen or heard anyone asking for Ketchup!! :confused3
Am sure they have it, but not any 'remarks' connected to asking for it, at least not to my knowledge. :goodvibes

Day 5 is in the books.

We visited Animal Kingdom in the morning. We hit mt everest and the safari. My wife went on Dinosaur. Our daughter wouldn't go. Our daughter was cracking up in Tough to be a bug until the bugs left the theater. That scared her.
We had dinner at the garden grill. Tonight we discovered a problem with magic bands. Our server at the garden grill charged the 18 percent gratuity to our resort charge. We have been dining with a party of seven: my wide, our son, our daughter, my mother-in-law( who I refer to as aunt edna), my father and his fiance. We have been paying the gratuities with cash. Some of these servers have been getting double tipped. And some of them have done this maliciously. After walking the World Showcase at EPCOT and watching illuminations we returned to the outpost and checked our account. Our suspicions were correct. Several cast members assisted us and corrected the problem. One of the cast members was looking up codes to find out who the un-Mickey servers were.
We were a little worried when we discovered the problem but the staff at the outpost helped out tremendously. For the remainder of our trip we do not have charge privileges which isn't a problem for us because I never used it.(only those trying to rip us off did) Apparently this is one of the loopholes servers have found. I would guess they would have this problem addressed soon.

A full day and alot of exhaustion. Tomorrow we sleep in.

Day 6 was a full day. All of us slept in until 9:30. Thursday was a good day to do some laundry. We took a bike ride to Wilderness Lodge. Had a relaxing lunch poolside. We pedaled back and saw turkeys and deer. The sky was a bit overcast so my son, Dad and myself went fishing. My Dad and myself actually went catching. My son was stumped. Bout 3:30 it started to rain. My grandfather always said fish bite more in the rain. Didn't see more bites in the rain, we just got soaked. We did see some construction starting behind the 300 loop. I have some speculations but i'll try to investigate further to zero it in.

At 4:30 we went to Mickey's very merry( and wet) Christmas Party. It poured until 8:00pm but who cares, I'm on vacation. A wet day with the mouse beats a dry day at work.

We saw the parade twice and the fireworks were awesome. All of us hit the laugh floor. I was "that guy", they used my son's joke and my daughter was the "laugh helper"

We hit a couple of rides and went back to the fort with many new memories and very sore feet. Oh, and soaking wet clothes, jackets and shoes too.

Tomorrow is another day, we'll dry out then but it is our last day.

Ya know, there's just something about the quality time you get to spend with someone when yer fish'n that just can't be beat, :thumbsup2

Garden Grill, one of my most very favorites

Glad ya'll are hav'n a great time !

Friday was a beautiful day.

We started out early. Crystal Palace breakfast at 8 am. We saw Pooh and friends. The breakfast buffet was great as usual. After breakfast we let the kids lead the way. We hopped back and forth across the Magic Kingdom. At one point we walked from Tomorrowland speedway to Country Bear Jamboree. My son and daughter then decide it's time for Buzz Lightyear. So we walked back to tomorrowland. We all scored well on Space Ranger spin. The kids then decided splash mountain was next. That's when we finally said" whoa"

From that point on we covered each area thouroughly before moving on. It was hard for my daughter to understand one thing. The more time you spend walking around the park, the less quality time you'll have to wait in lines. My son disagreed, he told me we'll have less time on the ride. I had to break it down for him. Most attractions have the same duration day in and day out. The wait time is the variable. He figured it out. From that point on, we wasted little time. Both kids will say It's a Small World was a waste of time. Momma wanted to ride it, so we rode it. Happy Wife, Happy Life.

Something i forgot to mention frkm Thursday night. It rained, i already mentioned that. We hopped in line for It's a Small World. Alot of people did. To get out of the rain. I dunno who slipped up. When it was time for our journey, our boat was loaded with all adults on the left and small children on the right. Never thought it would be a problem. Except for the larger gentleman in the second row. We were listing to port and every left turn a little bit of water come over the side. I thought we could get swamped at any moment. We come onto the ride to geg outa the rain and this happens, IRONY. We never swamped but we sure did gave some laughs.

Back to Friday.

We hit all the attractions. I am bushed. We haf dinner at the Liberty Tree and hastily exited the park. Dinner was good as usual but they do not serve apple pie any more. What is more American than apple pie? According to Ocean Spray, the sponsors of Liberty Tree Tavern, craisin pound cake is. I gotta write them and let them know their research is way off.

I hope at least all the walking wore the kids out and they slept good that night. You too, maybe? :lmao:

Friday didn't end after we left the park. We were exhausted from just leaving the park. Mickey's very merry christmas party had started and man were the crowds coming up main street. By the time we got back to the fort it was 8:00pm

I had some packing to do. Currently we are in transit for New Jersey. Time to go home. We packed up our site and had some time left for the kids to hit the pool til it closed at 11.
They were having a blast and I fell ASLEEP in the poolside chair.

My head hit the pillow at 11:14 and my wife said I was snoring at 11:15.

You have no idea how much I have enjoy'd your time at the Fort/Disney. It really sounded like a awesome time,,right up to the very end.
I am so sorry ya'll have to head back to your second home but "man oh man" the memories ya'll will be talk'n about for a very long time :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
Be safe on your journey and remember we still enjoy any magic moments you wanna share even if your not at the Fort now.

What a trip. We made it home Sunday night after a 19 hour drive. I like to spilt the trip home into two days. It's nice to get some rest halfway. After all it is vacation. We left the fort Saturday morning after one last trip to trails end and to meadow trading post to pack the rv freezer full of frozen mickey ice cream bars. We drove to Lumberton, NC and boondocked in the Walmart parking lot. Relaxed and slept to about 5:30. Took the dogs for an extra long walk. Sunday morning they really missed the off leash dog park.
We hit the road about 7:30 and took our time going up 95 then 301 by bowling green, VA.

The kids really do travel nicely and our dogs even better. My wife, she can't seem to stay awake while I drive. I love getting home and she'll say," I am tired, that was a long trip" I usually just shake head and go about the tedious unloading.

That's about it for us. Thanks to all who followed along.
Next trip to the fort-760 days(but who's countin?)

Thanks for the TR. Glad you guys had so much food, uh, I mean fun. Tomorrow it will only be 759 days. :hourglass
