On-Line Check in -- The Positives

I did on-line this time and got to the resort (BLT) at 5pm and it worked fine. However, aren't they supposed to text me when the room is ready? Or is that only when you check in early in the day which I did not? We were in Universal that day and I did "kill" time until after 4pm.

My understanding is that the texting only happens if you check in and your room isn't ready yet. This way they give you your keys at check-in, then they just text you the room number when it's ready and your keys will just "magically" work for that room.

HtomSirveaux is correct, if your villa is not ready at check in you can select to receive either a call to your cell phone or a text which will notify that your villa is ready. The message will also provide you with the room number. The CM at the check in usually will only give you the location of your villa (floor, and wing).

I did online check for our stay earlier this month at Kidani. My room request was met - the only issue is that they did not attach the credit card to the reservation so I had to get it added but other than that I would recommend if there is a specific room request you have.
