On Line Check In Date

Please help me determine my on line check in date. I have been given two different answers from the good folks at DCL. We are leaving on 7/18/2016, final payment date is May 4th. So do we get to check in at midnight or 12:01am on May 4th or May 5th? HELP! I am so confused!
