I usually spend an hour or two or less every evening on it. But I've noticed how some members of disboards that have been members less than two years and have THOUSANDS of posts. How do you have the time to write so much? :confused3

I spend a lot of time on the computer. but contrary to what my post count would lead you to believe, I do have a life. I am a student, and the the disboards are an outlet of mine. I am also an artist, so I spend a lot of my computer time not even online, but working in photoshop.

I'm not sure... I leave the computer on all day, with several sites open, and I surf in between chores and errands. My guess is 3 hours a day.

Waaaaay too many!! I'm addicted. I need help! :surfweb:

Probably way too many. I'm another one that leaves the computer on. I'm on and off throughout the day in between doing things. I leave certain sites up as well as my IMs.

A lot of time!!!! We don't have cable or anything, so the internet is my only outlet to the outside world.

I am also a part time college student and I use the computer for all of my classes.

I'm on for eight hours a day at work. Maybe an hour or so at home depending on what's going on.

My IM is ALWAYS turned on. Even if I'm away, its still on. I just put "lam" in my name and I'll usually get a message or two to come back to.

Don't ask me, I have over 100 posts per day according to my profile. :confused3

:lmao:

Anyway, I spend way too much time online. I've been in graduate school for two years now and my laptop has been surgically grafted to my legs. I'll sit and research, then sit and type, then sit and play, then research some more, then play, then type, then play, then type, then play play play.

It's my job and I'm good at it.

well considering i work online from home many hrs a day and i surf when not busy i would say my computer is on about 12-15 hrs a day.way way to many.

When I worked from home and had a computer job, I would spend at least 10 hours a day on it. So I was really able to boost my post count! :thumbsup2

But now that I work outside the home and my job is very demanding (I teach! :teacher: ), I maybe get in a couple hours total - and most of that's at home. It's been quite an adjustment for me - I can't access the DIS at work! :badpc:

My computer is a drug and I need some other drug to help me get over this addiction! I spend at LEAST 6 hours a day on the computer. I am a SAHM. I do play with the kids, cook, and get the house clean, but I usually drag my laptop everywhere. If I'm cleaning the kitchen, I bring it in the kitchen and do things on it in between dishes, mopping, or sweeping. It's pathedic! I truly wish I wasn't like this but I can't seem to get enough. I wake up in the morning thinking about the computer......Horrible, I know! HELP ME!

Hi my Name Is Jacqueline and I can stop ANYTIME i want to :lmao: Yeah right! Often times you will come into this room and find the three of us one separate 'puters for hours at a time! Hubby is only one who is doing work (unless you count DIS-ing) Daughter will use hers for typing up papers during school year but hers is mainly used for MSN and gaming.

So how Long :rolleyes1 somedays from 11 am till 2am give or take with breaks for meals and to take dog out & maybe a nap. YIKES i have it bad eh?
