Oh, I don't know...all these kinds words about Dan? Are we sure is is deserving of them?

You betcha! I know most everyone around here knows what I think of him but I'll say it again anyway.
Dan Murphy has got to be one the kindest, most gentle, tenderhearted, caring, thoughtful, helpful people I have ever had the privilage of meeting. We met him almost 2 years ago at WDW and my family instantly loved this Internet stranger. We had the opportunity to do AK and Epcot last Sept. (with my niece and nephew who loved him too!) You'd think someone so tall would be intimidating esp. for children but the opposite is true. That is why he reminds me of Sulley.

I have learned a lot about life and how to live it just by having the chance to spend 3 days with Dan and, of course, hours here. There is some saying about not being rich until you give of yourself. That sums him up in a nutshell! He is rich because he gives of himself so freely. Hunter lights up when she sees anything about Dan--a card, a VM, a photo link...after having lost a grandfather this year, I think, whether he likes it or not, she's adopted him. He's a great friend through thick and thin. I am proud to call him my friend. We love him dearly.
I look forward to someday meeting Marie because I know behind every great man there is a greater woman. They are a special couple.
Yes, it is safe to say that as I counted my blessings yesterday, I counted among them Dan and Marie. I am thankful that God has let our paths cross (even if it is on the Internet. )
