Im proud of my Buffalo Sabers. There a tiny small team that gets hit and beaten up and today we stood up for ourselves. Going into tonights game against rival Ottawa we had 7 injuries. We have some of our backups backups playing for us.
Well we were losing 2-1 in the secend period. Tom Vanek scored to tie it up. 37 secends later he scored again to give us the lead. A few minutes later are leading goal scorer and caption Chris Drury was skateing down the ice without the puck and Ottawa thug neil Elbows him in tthe face. Drury fell down holding his eye and there was drops of blood all around him. Then Drew Stafford of the Sabers who is not a fighter attacked Neil and they fought.
Then the sabers sent out their 3 tough guys Peters, Mair and Kaleta. Then the fights really started Kaleta went after Ottawa star Heatly and beat him up. Mair went after Spezza and peters went after the other foward so there were 3 figts at the same time.
Ottawa goalie Ray Emery is on his first day back from being suspended for hiting a montral player in the head with is brick hard blocker. If the player was not wearing a visor he would of been seriously injured. Anyways Ray Emery droped his equipment and challenged Sabers backup goalie who was playing to give all star goalie Miller abreak to a fight. marty biron fought with him and nothing really hapened. Emery Than challenges Peters to a fight and peters dominated him.
While this is happening Ottawas coach jumped on the gate and started screaming at the sabers coach Lindy Ruff. They then preceded to have a verbal war. Right after that happened Ottawa scored to tie it up.
While I was typeing Mike fischer one of Ottawas tough guy elbowed Buffalos secend smallest player right in the back luckily he was OK. Later sabers player Clark MacArthur scored his first Nhl goal.
The third period is about to start. The score right now is 3-2
