Its been years since my last cruise- we just booked our FIRST EVER Disney Cruise this past week! I have been watching videos, looking at pics, trying to get all the info I can on this line! I have come across SO many pages where people have these amazing and incredible magnets on their doors with names and designs.... I NEED THEM!! HOW AWESOME!!
Where do you guys get these?? How can I get my hands on them!! For something as simple as door decorations, it really makes it so much more fun and exciting for the family!!!

Many of us make our own. How varies. I print images on photo paper and back them with self-adhesive magnetic sheets I purchase from Michael's.

You can find images on the Creative DISigns board, as well as a couple of threads here.

Others, just purchase them.

LOVE the door magnets. However, we prefer the concierge level and those have a decorative veneer over the metal doors. Most magnetic strips are not strong enough to go through the veneer. And DCL looks down upon using any version of tape because it can leave a film or even damage stuff (even though it would be slight) and could fine you.

I found the best thing to do iff you download the images, print on paper, laminate them, then add the self-adhesive magnet strips (hobbly lobby or michaels), THEN add the #10 strength magnets (hobby lobby or michaels). These are strong enough to go through the veneer and will 'stick' to the magnetic strips. They are small enough that they don't stick only but a quarter of an inch off the door and don't fall down!

I make my own. I usually make each person a custom name tag and then we do some others depending on the cruise. For our engagement cruise a friend made ones themed to each day and then a congratulations set after my fiance proposed. The fact the whole group was on board for the surprise was awesome! We got back from dinner and somehow they had switched the whole door over. I figured later that was where the ridiculously long bathroom break lead my friend haha.

Double sided take and basic magnets are the starts for some easy diy door sets...
