OMG - The Most Magical Trip EVER!

I still can't believe how wonderful our trip was. We've been to Disney many, many times and this, by far, was the most magical

From the trip in the front of the monorail to dd waking up Tinker Bell to dd riding in a teacup with Alice and the Mad Hatter to us being chosen as the "Family of They Day" at the Garden Grill to dd meeting her man, Captain Jack Sparrow to dd chosing an oyster in Japen that had a 8mm pearl and then chosing another oyster that had two pearls inside!!

Maybe it was because my Mom was with us and it was her first time back in 26 years or maybe beacause we had zero expectations of any of the things happening and they just did! Who knows, but it was incredible.

Not to mention...Wilderness Lodge. So beautiful and we booked a standard view room and had a wonderful view of Wishes each night!

The only "downer" of the entire trip was Liberty Tree. The food wasn't good at all and the service was worse. I did have high expectations of eating there for the first time and we were all let down. Won't be eating there again!

The Pirate and Princess Party was fantastic. And the FIREWORKS..OMG, incredible. I've never seen anything like it.

WOW, that does sound magical! Iam glad you had a great trip. Iam a little concerned about Liberty Tree Tavern, I have ressies there next week for dinner, can you elaborate more?

Well, my Mom is from North Carolina and she and we have high expectations on "home cookin'" and how it should taste. The meat was bland and the potatoes would barely leave the spoon (even with some banging!). The gravy was the LUMPIEST gravy I have ever, ever seen. I didn't know gravy could look like that and the stuffing was worse. The cobbler for desert was good, though.

The server was out of the norm. I've really never encountered nasty CM's before. She was terrible.

Give it a shot, though. What doesn't please some does please others!

Thanks for a wonderful review. I'm so glad you had such a magical trip. It sounds like the one we had in July 05. It was our first summer trip and it was just the most magical two weeks we ever had. We got to see the space shuttle, spent two wonderful days at the beach, went to Busch Gardens and many wonderful days at WDW.

Not that any of our other trips were not magical, it's just that one felt especially magical. Our trip last year was great too, except DH was stressing over a job issue and was worried about a promotion he was getting......I think it made our last year trip slightly less magical because of his extra stress. Other than that it was wonderful. I hope we have a magical one this year too!
