Thanks! I have nearly 1,000 posts and ave been on here, for what I just realized, 3+ years!! It was interesting to see what I hav posted on over the past few years... Our first vacay as our own family, our first DCL aventure, and al the Dis-Drawls inbetween... Potty training issues with DS5 a few years back, finding out I was preggers, what to name him... All kinds of stuff!

I'm so bad I try to do a little something so when DH comes home for lunch he thinks I've been working. Shhhhhh. I don't think he's fooled though

I do the same thing - I run around liek a crazy woman when he calls to tell em he is on his way home and if we need anything, milk usually. Glad to see its not just me! Usually I have to sneak a few glances at work during the school year to see whats happening, but since its summer, I am here waaay more frequently. Like ALL DAY LONG!

You can can appreciate it, Blessings, because it was in reference to The Christmas Tree Shops and TJMaxx! Reny's too! Now we have ur very own CTS here in town, so its even more fitting! LOL

I amnot sure how I got my tag - The Tag Fairy saw it on a nother thread i posted on a few years ago and must have got a chuckle out of it, because all of a sudden, there it was! I like to think that I have *said* wittier things than that, but I will take what I can get!? I guess I might be called a tag slut?

I am so glad you posted a responce, Bless7ings! I was waiting and waiting... I was forced to do some laundry, try new school cloths on DS9 and DS5. Even even feed them lunch!! I wanted it to be here, with all my fellow Dis-Addicts who can appreciate it for what it is!!

Ok, thats all I have fo now- Back to being a parent, maybe take a shower, shuffle the laundry and maybe, just *maybe* even fold it before myDFIL gets here to pick up DS9 for his golf lesson!!

Ok, so I got the laundry put up and will now go sort out all the dirty stuff that has been in everyone's baskets and start a load before DH gets home. Oops! Forgot about those dang towels again.

I just put quote requests in for the rest of my family. Maybe DH can draw up another bar graph or maybe this time a pie chart for me to send them!

Glad I'm not the only one who has laundry issues. DH reminded me the other night that if I don't do some ironing soon he will be going to work naked. I'm slacking on the chores in favor of the Dis.

Well while I was away I was trying to firm up a few things for the trip. I posted a while back and asked the disboards what I was forgetting? I had written out a list of about 16 things and they all thought I looked pretty good. Well I bumped into something today I forgot.... I called AAA to order my trip tiks. We are only 8 days from leaving! Yeah, but maybe not yeah for my trip tiks. Let's hope I have some pixie dust...they are nice to go by.

So something to add to the list: Order trip tiks from AAA 3 to 4 weeks early to stash away and have directions all set!

Aren't trip tiks just directions? or does it give you other info as well? You can pull up trip tiks online I believe. I pulled up the AAA directions for our drive up to Niagara a couple weeks ago, but guess what? They were wrong! The time estimate was waaay off. Yes you can get them off line, but my computer is not printing very well right now. Plus, they are FREE with our gift subscription to AAA! I like to look at the close up details because I don't have a nice updated map. I figured the kids would like to look at it. It just would be nice and it's free instead of me using my money and time to print it out!

First, please let me assure you that the whole state does not close up shop and funnel down to Disney. I'm certain a lot of people use that time off to vacation (and we do too), but only a small percentage really make the trek to Disney in particular, it just seems like so much more because when you hear about it, its on Disney community boards like this and everybody's favorite destination here is the mouse.

That said, convention dates are the following:

2008: 6th & 7th
2009: 5th & 6th
2010: 4th & 5th

Its hard to say when exactly people will starting heading to Disney with those dates in mind. Some start the week prior allowing their kids to miss days from school preceeding the convention and others come only for the days their kids are off of school and yet others start the vacation at the beginning of the convention and keep it going until Veteran's Day or past. We have gone a few times during Jersey Week and have never found it bad. I have a very low tolerance for crowds (or rather patience in crowds) and this has always been a low to moderate crowd level IMO. You have to keep in mind that while NJ schools are off, the other 49 states aren't, so factor that into your crowd expectations. I would never not go during that time-especially if my only concern was crowds...the time period is severely overrated in that aspect if you ask me. Just go and have fun. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.

You all knw me SO WELL! Its almost scary! Thanks for thinking of me!!

I am back, we had a super crazy weekend and I have been righ out straight... My Aunt, my moms sister, passed away last thursday (8/7/08) of Alzheimers/Ephasia - She was only 65. She had been in failing health and with dimensia for about 5 years, and in a home for about 3+ years. My sisters all came in on Thursday evening.... I have 4 sisters - 3 live away (FL, OH and VA). Needless to say its been a crazy weekend. We had the services yesterday and family stuff is still ongoing. Its been a looong weekend and I am ready to rturn to normalcy - whatever that is!!?? DH is fried. The boys are overtired and I only have this week left untilI go back to work!!

Oh, did I mention that one of my sisters brought us home all Lab puppies??? Her pure bred Lab had a litter and she wantedall of us to have one. FREE... which is great, and we are thankful, but our life is so crazy with 3 kids, DH and I working full time,coaching, sports, practices, a Terrible 2 yearold... its going to be intresting! We couldn't say NO - DS9 is just IN LOVE with tis dog, he cried and cried when DH caved and said yes! It will be hard, but doable. have a flexible enough schedule to be able to come home and let her out, play, or even take her to my pracices when I am coaching... Should be interesting.... But the boys are in love and she is sooo cute! Yes, She ! Finally, another female! She will have a sister and a bro here in town, a yellow lab who is with my lil sis here in own, and a black lab brother with my parents... Did I mention that it should be interesting!?!?!

About the Laundry... Its still here and my piles are creeping up and up. Its my mission to gt it all re-caught up before school starts. I hope to get it all put away too, but I am not guarenteeing anything....

Grendalynn-I'm so sorry about your Aunt's passing. I'm sure crazy is an understatement for how things have been in your neck of the woods. Congratulations on the new addition to the house-those puppies sure are cute and hard to resist! We got a puppy back in February and FINALLY have it trained! Lots of work, but worth it.

My in laws took my youngest for a few days so I'm all by lonesome today until I go get the other kids.

I've been scouring any thread that deals with the Poly, so I have completely wasted the morning. I should be at the grocery store since I don't have any children, but oh well. I'll go after lunch when I'm not so hungry. Yeah that's it. That was my plan all along
