OMG! I am OBSESSED with DisBoards! Ahh - Support Group needed...

Right!!! Of corse!! We did not go to the MNSSHP last time we were at the MK/WDW during the Halloween Season, but boy did it look like fun!!! I wish we had known more about it - I think the kids would have really enjoyed it. We were on a Land and Sea deal and only had a few days at WDW, so we did nopt do all that we wanted to. But the decorations were amazing and the lights and everything at night were so cool!! Maybe next time!

We used to go all the time during Halloween season and we never knew about MNSSHP. Friends of ours introduced us to it on a group trip about 7 years ago and we have gone every year since. My kids like the Halloween aspect of it and all the decorations and me and DH like that it is not as crowded as spending a day in the park and we can do and see just about everything we want to in an evening. The headless horseman and the special fireworks show are not to be missed. One day you will have to try it if you happen to be going when they have it going on.

Hope you guys had a great time on DCL. We did DCL in 2004-it was the first cruise ever for our kids and they had a blast. :)

I saw this post and I definitely thought it described me! I am addicted. Pretty much the Dis is all I do with my free time or most of it anyway... why is it so addicting? BECAUSE DISNEY IS AWESOME. :) Anyway, hi!

Unfortunately it has been too busy here! I jumped on tonight because I needed a fix. My husband is winding down watching tv:happytv: and I am surfing the DIS boards!!!:goodvibes I'd much rather be on here!

Anything good to update me on? Let me hear it! It takes a lot of time to surf the boards for updates and new news!

Good morning all! :surfweb: What happened to all our chatty addicts? Anyone have some upcoming Disney plans to share? ::yes::

Well, I just got back from WDW for 8 days + a 7 day DCL cruise, and I've booked a 5 day trip to DL in December, plus I rebooked a 7 day mexican cruise for next June with a pre-cruise trip to DL.

How does that sound for addiction? I'm embarrassed to tell anyone!(except you guys of course).

I can't decide if I should get an AP or not. Folks say to get a PH and then upgrade. What is the advantage of that? Wouldn't I get discounts with my AP that I wouldn't get with a PH?

You disney addicts should know! Plus what is the best place (price and locations) to stay at DL?

If anyone can share that would be great!

2 of my sisters, our kids, our mother, and I are going in May, 2008. We already have our rooms booked. Just waiting to be able to book the whole package deal, so we can get the DDP(a definite + to have). We're trying to talk the DH's into going but they aren't as nutty about Disney as we are. I just don't understand them. LOL.

:woohoo: Sounds like you had a very nice trip! We did DCL a few years ago and the kids loved it.

We never upgraded to AP's...we have always had them, so I'm not sure what the rationale of doing that is-I don't think it saves you money though. If it does...somebody better tell me cause we've been getting taken for more $$$ than necessary! We have PAP's and it does give you discounts-no parking fees, % Off at downtown Disney and certain Disney restaurants. There are other benefits, they give you a little booklet and it details everything. I'm sure that the full listing is somewhere on this site. You are also eligible to purchase the DDE card (think it costs $50 a year...may be more now, we renewed ours last October). DDE gets you 20% (I think that's the percentage) off at the Disney restaurants...even for dinner...the AP discount usually does not discount dinner. Also...AP gives discounts on hard ticket events (usually specific dates) like MNSSHP and MVMCP.

We couldn't live without our AP's!:dance3:

:lmao: Disboards is addictive. Every time I get on my computer, I find that I hit disboards before I check my own email or do anything else & Im on my computer often due to a home based company. :rotfl2:

Disboards really does RULE! I wanna join this support group too.

You too, huh? I find it hard to stop reading the boards and actually do my work as well! Ugh...the pitfalls of the home based business! :rotfl:

There are some days I physically have to tear myself away and say...NO MORE...of course that only lasts a few hours...or a day. I think the only real cure for staying away is to be at Disney itself. The next trip can never come quick enough! :sad2:

Oh thats so true. Its horrible when you see disney pictures and such and go OMG that would be wicked as an avatar or a signature photo :thumbsup2

Your away from the computer for maybe an hour and you come back and go "OH GEES! MAYBE SOMEONE FINALLY POSTED SOMETHING NEW" so you have to go check it out. I can understand why people make yearly or weekly trip to the land or world.

I'm so glad I'm not alone, and found my happy place with so many friends who can share crazy with me :grouphug:

OMG...mystic_path-your Ursula pic in your signature cracks me up! I love it! :woohoo:

What is a PH? Is it to do with meals?

I also would like to hear what everyone says about AP's. I had been on the boards in 2004 for research for our 2005 trip. When I was just learning about breaking the codes Jan 2005 came and blew everyone out of the water with the changes!:scared1: So I learned the new system and booked and then two days later they came out with FREE dining for the first time and was there a hay day on the boards and the phones!:lmao: So needless to say, I called back and completely changed our plans for longer!:cool1:

So now I am planning another trip for 2008 (hoping for free dining again!:goodvibes ) I thought we were going to go this fall, but unfortunately it is a no go.:sad1: I have checked and rechecked and the free dining is the cheapest for us and we love that time of the year. (Cheaper than the 40% off the rooms.) So I am always looking for something better. Do any of you have anything that your hiding?
